The poor cook is the only one working in the restaurant at night. He's very friendly but food wise it's very hit or miss. The first time I had it, I found the food okay and didn't judge it. But I went two more times and found the food either bland or just wasn't really good texture wise.I love the concept of a really late restaurant, but I think it needs to focus on one ethnicity.
It smelled and tasted awful.....he rushed and cooked it in like 2 mins so some of the rice was like undercooked and burnt at the same time like he had it up really high and didn't cook the rice long enough.It was awful.Very dissappointed.I threw it away
Restaurant was clean and was nicely decorated but had a musty smell on entry. Service was friendly and quick considering it was one person waiting on us and preparing the food. Sashimi was not very cold, the salmon tasted slightly off and the tuna had dry discolored portions. Wasabi was dry and flavorless too. My partner had a California Roll and another roll with Eel in it. Both rolls were not made well, rice was not thoroughly cooked and the seafood tasted off as well. Potstickers were good. Overall a disappointing first visit. Would not return or recommend to others.
Stopped in for dinner. Owner was friendly and kind. Large menu selection. Place is clean.Pictures is the Jacky Moki sushi. I don't like seaweed and asked for soy paper. He doesn't carry soy paper, but offered to roll it for me without seaweed. Absolutely perfect.Will come back for sure.
We ordered delivery, order was accurate and on time. Driver was friendly. No issues ordering and getting food. Only and biggest issue was sushi wasn't great. Pretty bland and dry, definitely would like to try it, in restaurant, so I could maybe ask for some extra sauces and hear good things about the fried rice. I'll try it again, next time maybe dine in.
Owner business(Japan)? is a nice classily. A manager is seem a good person. A food meal(chicken with fried rice or flavor on rice)was good and a price is not bad. My first time ordered with a son late after 11p.m.
The staff was friendly, the place was clean, service was good. I had heard great things about the food and maybe my expectations were too high for the food. The fried rice was the exception and was very good. The sushi was buffet quality, I was very sad about that. The noodles just didn't have any flavor. I hope I just caught them on an off day. Many of my friends have had a better experience there. Hopefully my next visit is better.
I came in between lunch and dinner hours with a friend, and so we had the place to ourselves. The food was wonderful, surprisingly fresh miso soup. I wasn't expecting the fresh kelp in Kansas but it was a wonderful surprise. I have never had such delicious miso. I will definitely be trying to come in again soon.
Online large order and learned they were short staffed. It was well worth the extra wait for the delicious rolls. We'll be sure to call ahead next time. Very happy with the food and service.
Went in thinking I was going to be be sick, but was met by a friendly server and great food. Coming back soon
