everything is in Italian hard to read the menus pizze was great salad was alright. don't pass on the black pepper for the salad.

Having dined at Il Vicino in the past (before the pandemic), I was going through Door Dash and realized how long it's been since I had one of their Margherita pizzas. I ordered it and an order of cannoli. I was not disappointed! My taste buds were dancing with delight. I plan to return to the restaurant in the near future - once I get rid of this cold. Highly recommend Il Vicino for authentic flavors.
First time checking this place out, the lady in the front was super nice and answered all of our questions and we did inform her this was our first visit. I ordered the kale salad which was very good but after 3 bites I noticed a cluster of hair in it so I sent it back, the same lady from the front came and apologized and said they would make me a new salad. I was ok with that, our waitress was very nice also, we did order some cannolis that we’re suppose to be brought after we ate our food but they were never brought to us, we had to find our waitress to ask for them. By this time, I was annoyed so we asked for them to be to go. They never offered to take anything off our tab or a way to rectify for the inconvenience, I was disappointed and don’t think we’ll be returning.
normally i have a wonderful experience with great food but today april 13 2022 at 12:00 we ordered i asked the manager to put my number in for my rewards she said we will do it later then never did then she came by my table i tried to talk to her she looked right at me and walked away. i was very mad at this to be blatantly ignored cause she didnt want to deal with it cause she had a more pressing of a matter to take care which was a personal text message.it was not busy at the moment either. very bad of her she is supposed to be leading the staff in a good manner not by ignoring customers and texting
Delicious pizza, very good calzone and Salat. The pizza is done in an real wood fire Ofen, you can taste it in the crust. Ingredients had a fresh taste. The service was very quick, friendly and helpful. We ate there, nice place with enough space to get a lunch. Very recommended for pizza fans.
The pizza had good taste just should have been cooked a little longer for thar crisp, it was a bit chewy/doughy . When I realized it I was home already and didn't wanna go back.
One of the best pizzas we have experienced. Crust was just right. Marinara sauce was delicious. Toppings were abundant.
I eat here frequently, and normally the service is not this bad, which is why 2 stars—if I was rating specifically my last trip, it would be 1.When we went in for lunch, we got a table for 2. There was another table of 2 in the restaurant, and no one else. There was one waiter. After tipping up front when we paid (I always tip at least 20%), we sat down and were brought our water. Our waiter brought our food out when it was ready and left without giving me a chance to ask for spicy oil for the table since our table was the only one without it. I walked over to a different table and got the oil myself (not a big deal).We proceeded to eat our food, and he never came back to check on us (I was going to ask for napkins since the only one that had been provided was the one the silverware was wrapped in). I watched him go and check on the other table a total of 4 times. He never returned to my table to ask how the food was or check if we needed anything else, despite asking those exact questions to the other table. Throughout our stay, we were the only other customers in the restaurant.After eating, I needed a to-go box for my leftovers. After unsuccessfully trying to catch our waiter’s eye, I had to get up, walk to the counter, and ask the cashier for a to-go box. Our waiter saw this and never came back over to apologize or ask if we needed anything else.I filled out the link provided with my texted receipt requesting feedback, and was told someone would be reaching out about my concerns. No one ever did.I have noticed that about half the time when I tip before receiving my food that the service here is definitely sub-standard; it has gotten so bad that I now refuse to tip prior to the end of my meal. It did not user to be like this.It would be one thing if our waiter had several tables and was very busy, but he refused to take care of more than one table. I am frustrated because I usually enjoy eating here due to the atmosphere and great food, but there is no reason I should tip well and then have to wait on myself.
we live in College Hill & frequent this place. Great pizza & lasagna. I like their cheesecake too. MY ONE COMPLAINT - PLEASE GET A BETTER PIZZA CUTTER!!!
