Finally got to eat here! Snagged a single seat at the bar. Get there before 10 am or you’ll be waiting for a while. Service from Mariam was great! Loved the fluffy biscuit & cheesy grits. Sadly, the eggs Benedict were really bland. The English muffin & ham were good but the Hollandaise sauce had no discernible flavor. I’d order something else next time I come back.
They always mess up our order. The girls up front talk to much to each other and aren’t focused on the customers they also do not know how to speak on the phone. We tried them again this morning and they messed up our order again. Won’t go back.

First time in Wichita KS, stopped by for brunch and I was impressed. Locally sourced and made from scratch food, friendly and helpful staff and service. Prices are very reasonable.
We had never been to HomeGrown and decided to try it out Friday for lunch. We were seated in less than the 15 minute wait time. Everything was clean and pleasant. The hazelnut mocha was fabulous, and the croissant french toast was amazing. The biscuits were light and fluffy but the gravy was average. Our server was excellent too. We will return!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Order online through their website. When I arrived to pick up my order I checked everything and realized my pancakes were missing. I reviewed the receipt given to me upon pick up and it did not have the pancakes listed. I then reviewed the receipt sent to my email which did include my pancakes and higher total which is what I was charged. I went in and let them know and they made the pancakes so I had to wait for them and therefore all of my other food was getting cold. Upon arriving at home I realized with my biscuits (plural) and gravy there is only one biscuit. At this point called to the restaurant to ask if I should have more biscuits and the hostess said yes it comes with 3 and she then transferred to the manager to then said no it only comes with one which by the way costs $9.50. the manager made no effort to resolve the issues and said we could request a refund online because it is somehow a third party website even though it was order on homegrown website. And in the end all of the food we did get were very small portions for premium prices and all tasted mediocre. We will not be returning and I suggest you go elsewhere.
Best dine in breakfast in wichita! I always go there for the BLT ae sandwich coz I absolutely love it.and their pancakes are fluffy and delicious! But I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because these are the only 2 dishes I personally LOVE there. I don't like cinnamon so I don't like their pop tarts but others like them. Also their French toast is more like a Cinnabon roll so know what to expect.
The food is good but the price point is a bit crazy. $4 for a side of potatoes? This was how much we got with takeout. They are normally out of the strawberry poptarts when we order. To me, that’s their best thing they have. The middle of the pancakes were not cooked all the way through.
Staff was very friendly and the food is always delicious! Highly recommend Homegrown!!!
Loved this place when it first opened. Online order was a nightmare. Upcharges everything. Ordered food for 3 persons, received enough for two. Greasy eggs, and sausage, flowing grease in the to go orders. Counted 12 tiny cube potatoes, missing potatoes in one order and gravy. I ordered 2 large fruit cups, received 2 tiny less than 1/4 c of fruit that was nice and hot. Be sure to check your orders.
