Visited on Friday night about 6:45. We were probably 1 of maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant. Waitress came back about 15 minutes after ordering to says they were out of strip steaks. Ordered a different steak. Then came back 10 minutes after that to say they were out of baked potatoes for 2 of our meals and we needed to order something else. Finally got our meals. I completely understand being out of items this day in age but should be aware when ordering what they are out of. Its not like it was busy and chaotic and to be out of multiple things and not keep coming back is ridiculous, especially for potatoes. Then 2 days later the other couple that was with us called to say they charged their card twice and not theirs. The restaurant was not going to credit them back their overcharge until we called up there, asked for Ann and paid our part. Absolutely ridiculous, again. Will not be back.
The decor was wonderful being an aviation enthusiast. The place was clean but looked worn. The appetizer bread was not good. My wife ordered steak which she said was good. I ordered a beef gyro that didn't taste like beef nor resemble it. It should be removed from the menu. We ordered crab cakes but the waitress forgot to submit the order. After eating we realized she did us a favor. All in all it was way overpriced for what we received. Never going back.
My husband and stepson and I ate here last evening. We arrived around 6:00 pm. We weee seated quickly Our waitress took our drink order and disappeared. She came back by sometime later to ask if we were ready to order and we reminded her that we had not yet received our drinks! She apologized and brought them over. I had ordered a single tall gin and tonic. It came as a short so I asked for it to be remade. She complied. I don’t know what I got but it had neither the taste of gin or tonic which are both very distinct tastes. But I drank it anyway though disappointed. My stepson and I ordered the prime rib and my husband ordered the ribeye. The food arrived timely. The baked potato was good. The meat was disappointing. Tough and tasteless. The mixed vegetables were swimming in grease, limp, overcooked and disgusting. The “horseradish sauce” tasted like watered down sour cream. Maybe it was for the potato? Anyway we asked for raw horseradish and some time later we got it and that helped The bread was really good and that was the highlight of our $136 meal before tax and tip. Overall we were disappointed with the experience
You don't have to like airplanes to like this place! Elisa was ahead of her game. I was in need of nothing. And the steak burger for $12.00... awesome!
Prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese...with a side salad to be healthy right?! Great service and surprisingly not busy on a Friday night at 7pm. This Texas meat eater will hands down say this is a top 5 prime plate ever eaten. Gotta say I am leaving Wichita happily surprised. Hats off Hanger One!
The atmosphere is wonderful! My friend and I went later in the evening and we were one of three tables, the restaurant was clean. We encountered wonderful servers throughout our meal. Everyone was fantastic! The food was full of flavor and had a phenomenal aroma. I ordered the ribeye steak and my friend got the salmon with mushrooms risotto. We split an order of fried pickles, which were fantastic! Alex was our server. My friend and I are from the Ozarks and we love our tea sweet. Alex provided tea that met our expectations and beyond.
Had to wait too long for drinks, food took a long time. Came out warm, not hot. Never got or was offered complimentary bread. Salad was old looking and poor color. Taste was good but steak was over cooked. After waiting 40 minutes I want going to ask for another one though.
Food always consistent. The service was great and wasn't too busy. Tad on the salty side be aware.
We were looking for an upscale place as we were going to treat ourselves and celebrate. We called ahead and when we arrive, the host got us seated pretty quick, that is where the best part of the dinning experience ended. It took a while for our server to address the table, she took our drink orders and our appetizer order. The drinks came out in intervals. When she brought us the Steak Bites, it looked more like skirt steak strips on a skewer. Defiantly not worth the price. Then the server proceeded to take our order. My cousin ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, No Gravy, the server looked at her and responded, "really? No Gravy? You're dipping your steak bites in gravy?? Who is this server to question why my cousin didn't want gravy, Two of the pastas that we ordered were chalky and bland. Another one in our party had ordered the Filet, Medium Rare, when it arrived it was Well Done. The server took it away to have a new one made. When the server finally came back to check on the rest of us, she informed us that she had never had a Filet, but said it tasted pretty good. Yes, she was eating the mistake and bragging about it while my guest was waiting on her new one to be remade. It was finally brought out by who I assume was a manager, He asked her to cut into it to see if it was to her liking. She responded yes, He left, with no apologies, discount, nothing. To say the least, For this being an "Upscale restaurant, it was a very bad experience and will not be getting our business. Unless you like wasting your money on bad food and service, don't waste your time, you would get better food and service from Texas Roadhouse.
Just Ok...We had been really wanting to eat here since my son got a job at the airport and we would be visiting from Texas. After much anticipation we got a chance to go in...Let me start by saying this place seems to be a little swanky as some of the patrons really dressed up (not all but some) and the prices would indicate definitely high end. The host seemed annoyed to be interrupted from whatever he was doing and told us there was a party going on so service would be slow. This was a HUGE understatement because the aforementioned party while large was not huge. The service was extremely slow and there were not many other tables being occupied so we did not understand the loooooooong wait for one drink and food. The experience was so off-putting I would mention if you are not a regular then go at your own risk. They do not seem to be friendly and the food was average. I'm sure we could have found a more suitable place that might welcome our business. We won't be returning nor recommending this place.
