I had posted previously about being unhappy with the root beer float I got from this location one night. While I didn't go back and get a root beer float I did get some food and custards that was very delicious the grilled chicken sandwich was fantastic so juicy only thing I wish I woulda done was add mayo to it but it was just as good in the fry sauce.
Came here for dinner with my sister at around 9:00 at night, I love to see that they keep this place fully staffed even into the evening hours. The burgers we ordered were far better than I expected, the frozen custard was excellent as well. I will definitely be coming back during my next visit to Wichita.
I think after this experience I'm just done dining out. I ordered a veggie burger, add jalapeños, medium fry, Dr pepper. Opened it up to a bun with two onions, veggie patty and a slice of cheese, with nothing else, not even the jalapeños, which I paid extra for, and fries with not a lick of salt on them. Normally it'd be whatever but I haven't had a good going out experience in a long time. Nobody cares. Minimum wage is not super livable. I get it. It just makes me sad.
It was a refrshing change to go to this location and have excellent service, compared to the other locations around Wichita. Considering they were short staffed and during our visit they managed to serve an entire softball team in a timeley manner, I'd say this was a perfect example of how good management makes a difference.
Very unique people. I've been there ever since they opened in the late 2000s/early 2010s. The fries are distinct in a good way, and they treat people very kindly. It was my birthday once, and then they were willing to make a discount, we didn't even ask for it, which makes me feel even more positive with Freddy's. I can tell this location is a very important one, not special for any achievements but they always try their best to make you satisfied. I know theres a couple of bad reviews out there but if they had just tried it a bit more they could've had a much more positive review. They've influenced me so much I've only been at the Panera Bread once! 0_o But I will always enjoy these people, also cool update on making the menu on TVs, now I can clarify my order a little better and easier for the staff, haha.
The combination of the steakbuggers, fries, and custards is what makes this place my #1 fast food restaurant.
Fast food love the cheese fries to share and we shared a double hamburger before going to Eli Young band concert at cotillion. Was good food. Also love their butterscotch sundaes...although we passed on this visit. Was busy but still friendly.
Cold, soggy, inedible fries.. crunchy EXTREMELY thin hamburger patties. This isn't the first time either. Definitely don't recommend this location
On Saturday night I went through the drive through on Ridge Rd. There is always a long wait but usually worth it. This time, I ordered 2 single steak burgers and two regular fries. What I got was 1double steak burger with NOTHING on it and 1 hot dog along with 2 cold orders of fries. Unfortunately, I usually check my order before pulling away but of course I didn’t this time.
Today I was saved by the wonderful staff of Freddy’s! I and my 3 young children go in as their first time going actually “in” to sit for lunch! I must of had the face of this may have been a mistake taking my 5 year old daughter and twins boys who are 4 in by myself! I stood with them at our table till I felt like I could walk away short distance to order food! My servers were pleasant and I walked up the young lady took my order and her co worker sneaks in and his talking with my kids, laughing and giving fist bumps all in time I’m able to order and go get out drinks! Freddy’s has some great youngsters in there or I may just be feeling old!
