We were a party of 5. The waitress was nice. She took our drink order right away, brought chips n salsa right out. Came back pretty quick to take our order. My food was brought out after the rest of my table were served their food. The food was cold and tasteless. The tea had a fishy taste. This was my 2nd and last time eating there. They’ve convinced me that they DONT want POC eating in their restaurant. They can keep it.
Always a good place to eat if you like Mexican. Their food is always constantly good. Lately they have been out of guacamole because avocado shortage, I miss that.
For a $17.00 beef fajita dinner the portions were way to small. I went there because I was hungry not to dine out for show!!! Come on Felipe’s JrDon’t start cheating your customers. I will be going back and ordering the beef fajitas and if they’re still skimping I will speak with Management. 45 years no problem all of a sudden past 6 months sucks
Just left had their chimmis... they were pretty good for the most part, definitely go with the steak.Their "salsa" tastes like cheap pizza sauce out of an aluminum can... they werent busy but somehow I was waiting on drinks till the sweet lady hostess noticed my drink empty twice. Over all id say it was decent but there are incredibly better Mexican places here in Wichita for the same dough.
Once again the food and service was excellent. We took long time friends who just moved to the Wichita area and they were impressed (they moved from California so there's that) Luckily, they live just blocks away from Felipes on Harry and Webb so they will be going there alot now. We took home left overs that were still great tasting 2 days later. They really care about making sure that everything is right. This is probably one of the top Mexican restaurant destinations in the area.
I love this place! It's my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita. Their Espinaca dip with chorizo added, and their Barbacoa tacos are delicious and amazing. In the 7 years (so far) I've been coming here, I've never been disappointed.
Waited at door while employees looked at us. 4 people took care of us and still not good service. No drink refills. I will not return. They used to be good not so much now.
Felipe's suffers from the same mistakes other Kansan Mexican restaurants suffer. Kansas people are pussies that can't eat spicy food. Hence, don't expect good Mexican food.
Food was fresh & hot.Frozen margaritas were exceptional.Our server was excellent.Had to wait a little longer than normal, but I'm very willing to give them leeway considering the across the board staff shortages.
Great service and quality food. Yum! I recommend ;0)
