So my 2nd time visiting the D.D. and unfortunately it was disappointing. The service was slow. Our food was cold. I ordered a steak medium rare. Attached is a photo of the steak. And in my experience this was obviously an old steak that was gray before it even touched the grill. I'm all for supporting small loc businesses but I can't if the quality isn't there. Come on D.D. DO BETTER

Clean, fantastic service and great food to boot. Waitress was fantastic even though she had like eight other patrons to take care of. You can tell she's been there for a while and deserves to stay. Take care of your waiters and waitresses. They definitely take care of you.
Standard breakfast/dinner diner fare but with a few surprises. Portions are very reasonable. Food came out quick and well prepared. The wait staff was fantastic our server went above and beyond to satisfy our grumpy little one.
Seated quickly at 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. I had the Douglas sampler and my wife had biscuits and gravy. Both meals were well prepared and my pancakes were excellent. Lori was our server and was very friendly and very attentive. If looking for after morning breakfast fix this place does the job.
Upon entering I did notice that the place was clean. Which I was happy about. My waitress did seem like she didn’t want to be there and was a bit pushy. She kept asking me if I wanted coffee or anything to drink. I told her no. But she was persistent. I ordered and the food tasted good. The waffles were however extremely sweet. When I ordered she again said do you want coffee, juice, and by this time I assumed it came with my breakfast just by how she said it and because I had said no numerous times before. I know I shouldn’t assume but I never order a drink because I cannot drink anything while I’m eating or it makes me really sick. I ended up just taking the coffee to go. The other thing I noticed was that the price I was charged was higher than what was on the menu. Was my breakfast worth 16 dollars. No Was my waitress friendly. Not really. Especially when she is laying her head down on the counter right next to wheee I was sitting and how pushy she was about ordering coffee. Needless to say. I’m not going to return. I think I’ll stick to going to Home Grown.

Biscuits are fire! Definitely going to recommend it! (Edit) popped in for a 2nd visit. The meal was epic as I expected. The service was fast and friendly. The environment was clean and quiet even though it has open kitchen. Still going to recommend it, for quick morning pick me up. Thank you guys for your wonderful service and the great food!!
