Very short staffed today, but they were working very hard. A little disgruntled because I ordered green beans and okra for sides, and my plate came out with double amt of okra, and it was cold. Also asked for Apple Butter, never received it, and then waited on our dessert that we ordered when we ordered our food. After being told it was coming out, and never received it, we finally got it in a to go box without the ice cream. We were not charged for it, but still made me grumpy.Just kept my cool, and mouth shut because they were all working very hard. Will try it again.
It had been several years since our last visit to a CB. I know they used to have tomato juice on the menu - but not any more. I think (?) they used to also have English muffins but I couldn’t get that either. Nonetheless, the food we did end up having was very good - eggs, bacon, etc. - and came out of the kitchen hot. Our waitress was efficient and friendly enough. I always enjoy perusing the Country Store. This one felt a little smaller and claustrophobic than some others I’ve been in. However, store staff were friendly and helpful. Nice time.
We had to wait an extra long time to get our table here. The front of the house service is very disorganized. Half of the dining room was closed. Food was just blah. Nothing special.
My waitress was very good but that's about all that I can say good about this experience the food tasted old and cold. One of my favorite things to have there is there cornbread and biscuits but today they were dry cold and hard. $50 meal with a $20 tip and we shopped in the store only to be treated like we were going to shoplift. A person followed us around and questioned us three times if we wanted help. All three times we stated no then the person walked away and talk to another worker in the shop and then that worker came and questioned if we needed help. Spent another $70 in that shop almost put everything back just because of the annoyance. I've never had an experience like that at any Cracker Barrel's but that one do not see myself going back anytime soon.
Great way to start the day!! Take out is easy and only a few minutes til ready when you're on the go, like my monthly staff meetings which start an hour earlier than normal. Otherwise, we love to dine in. The atmosphere is welcoming, love the large fireplace, and the gift shop offers a variety of items that I can't live without.
Our server was great he got slammed all at once forgot a few things but he kept his composure and stayed calm. Only 3 stars because the host did not have good customer service she literally just laid the menus on the table and walked away, didn't tell us about the specials or if there was any. Being our server just got slammed she could've talked to us a little, got drinks or something. The whole restaurant was empty they say everyone that was coming in in one corner with 2 servers. The food was way over priced, it was ok quality. I probably won't go back anytime soon.
If you love Cracker Barrel, this location will deliver on what you're looking for. I'm guessing pandemic related staffing problems significantly slow down the process of getting seated here. In my opinion, the wait & price was not worth the quality of the food put on the table.
Great place for breakfast. The biscuits are light and fluffy, but the gravy is a bit too peppery for my taste. The eggs and grits are done just right. Go early on Sunday mornings. They get packed as the day progresses. Blue was a fantastic waitress - bright, cheery, and attentive.
Went to Cracker Barrel and ordered to go. Waited the 20 minutes for the expected wait time. Checked the counter and food was not ready. Was told it would be a few minutes they were behind a little. Waited almost another 30 minutes and food finally came out. Fried pork chops came out extremely soggy. Very disappointed in my visit to this Cracker Barrel location.
The last time I ate at CB was about three weeks ago up in Park City. I've been pretty happy there but I think it may have been a bit of an off night. The drinks went dry, the food was cold and our server went missing so long I had to go to the kitchen to get help.Tonight I went to the CB on the west side. I has never been there before so I was excited for the opportunity. Sadly, it was an off night there too. The entree was good. The server informed us that they had run out of bread but she would bring us some as soon as it came out of the oven. It apparently came out fifteen minutes after we finished our meal, hard, tiny, and cold because that's what we got. Service was also absentee for most of the meal though my drink went unfilled for most of it.CB...pull it together.
