So I love me some Cracker Barrel. Have been to a lot over this country. This one foodwise is spot on.My less than five stars is because of the workers. The hostess was amazing she definitely set the tone as one of friendliest I have ever had. After that meh. The server acted very annoyed to be serving and just sleepwalking through the gig. Forgot part of my order and acted like it was no big whoop. Then when I went to payout and get the usual things we all get at CB. Again the person acted like I was bothering her to give the company money.The saddest part is both of these people had five stars on their apron.
Our waitress was outstanding!She was kind and very attentive to us as we placed our food order.Thank you cracker barrel for hiring such competent , kind, gentle people to represent your company!The service was outstanding from the beginning to the end at check out!!We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family members.We will definitely return to keep celebrating our family members birthdays.This morning we were celebrating our daughter and our grandson's birthdays.
I didn't take any pictures this time, but I will when I revisit. The experience was good the staff seemed friendly and food was okay. It is a chain so it was actually a lot better than expected.I did enjoy perusing through the store as I waited for my guest to arrive. I would suggest this one as my experience was good for the first time visiting. I cannot speak for the other locations.
Their steak was cooked to perfection as per order. I wasn't wild crazy about the Garlic sauce that it was marinated in, but it was a good cut of meat and tender. The waiter was "the best" that has ever waited on me in my 57 years. He never allowed my water to be empty; remembered everything I asked for and had it to me very quickly; the list goes on... He should put on a school for all the cracker barrel servers. None of the others can come close to this man. Great Job Cracker Barrel!!!
Food is excellent, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere inside the dining area is amazing. Takes you back to the old days when grandma would serve breakfast or lunch when you were young. Recommend going here for some good ol' country style breakfast.
A very good breakfast, I only wish they didn't include grits with nearly everything.

This used to be my go to place for good quality food and service. I took my dinner date there yesterday thinking we couldn't go wrong.It was very disappointing & terrible to say the least. The waitress didn't know what the special was & didn't offer to find out. We finally ordered the meatloaf meal. It came out quickly. Everything was room temperature cold- the biscuits & muffins were burnt, cold and hard as a rock. I mentioned it to the waitress & she brought more of the same. Then my date found a hair in her meatloaf which ruined her appetite. The waitress went to get management & a guy with long hair in a ponytail with no hair net came out of the kitchen. He just discounted the ticket $2 & moved on. From that point on the waitress ignored us like we were not there. Terrible experience- we will not go back. That location has gone way down hill!
At first everything seemed good. We got seated quickly and didn’t have to wait long. Unfortunately while the host staff was good, our server, Kayla, was completely rude and unprofessional. She took our drink order and food order and then never checked on our table until the check came. We had to flag down another server just to get refills on our drinks. Even when we were ordering from her, she would sigh and roll her eyes like we were bothering her. I’ve always loved Cracker Barrel and as I said above, the host staff was amazing but unfortunately the uncaring attitude of our server was upsetting, especially since we went for my father’s 70th birthday.
We were very disappointed in our meal. The steak was tough, and my wife's steak was overcooked. The hostess was more interested in clocking out for the evening than seating us. She told us it would be 20 minutes, but as soon as she left, the gentleman who took her spot found us a table quickly. Our server was friendly and responsive, a high spot to our visit.
