This is another yuk Mexican food here in wichita. I ordered chicken enchiladas and asked for extra enchilada sauce knowing Kansan's think they are supposed to be super dry. They poured some canned chili sauce with beef on it. It tasted like Hormel chili. Disgusting! The beans were not refried and had no flavor. I do not recommend this place unless you don't know what Mexican food is supposed to be.
My family of 6 went in there at around 6pm. Took 20 minutes for a table and then an additional 20 minutes for someone to just ask about a drink order and then it still took atleast 10 more to actually get our drinks. My food and my husband's food came out cold but atleast our kids food was hot. Only good thing about this experience was their salsa but the chips weren't great either. We decided we would not go back and try a second time because this experice was just not good at all.
Yummy food, amazing drinks and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back again.
The food is homemade, fresh and delicious!!! We make a point to eat here at least once whenever we are in town and it's always as comforting as we remember.
I usually get the avocado with eggs, but I decided to try something different. Chile Relleno was decent. The service was outstanding!

Have been here just a few times and each time got great food quick service had a really good meal. I left stuffed. Real good authentic Mexican food. Convenient and quick clean. I had the Tacos with beans and rice it was delicious.

Connie’s has been a staple in Wichita for as long as I can remember. I always have the shrimp tacos. They are cooked to perfection. I love the chips and salsa-great flavor and always fresh. The family that owns the restaurant are some of the nicest people I have ever met. You’ll get great services and great food.
