My wife and I have been several times now for dinner, we also took the family for Sunday brunch.The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I"ve always had good service. I taught the bartender how to make one of my favorite drinks and he improved on it. The food is nothing fancy, but it's good. Just basic comfort food with a couple of twists that make it "homey".Try the "garlic pork bites"! They're nothing fancy, just cubed slices of pork braised in garlic butter. I would NEVER have thought to do that, nor would I have thought I would like them, but OH MY!!! they are GOOD.Their pork tenderloin is tasty, and the chicken-fried chicken is quite good. I had a chicken-fried steak sandwich one evening and it was tough and not so good, so I wrote that one off of my "have again" list. But, I probably should give it another try, not EVERY cut of meat is always perfect.The sides and salads aren't fancy, or very impressive, but that's OK, they don't need to be.The pies are good - they bring them in from KC. My only regret on the pies is that they always seem to be out of the one I really want, but we tend to go late, so that's my own fault.Bottom line: NOT fancy, but comfortable, clean, friendly. That means a lot in these days of "chain" restaurants. I should mention, the prices are very reasonable also. Makes it easy to return on a whim.
Food was good. Service was terrible. Extremely slow and unorganized. Glad the one on west Kellogg is opening back up. The place was filthy but they had better service and better rolls.5-15-22In today. Service is still terrible, except the woman who seated us. The waitress was young, zero customer service skills. My husband and friend liked their food, but for Pete's sake, season the flour you dip the chicken in. It literally tasted like straight flour. The fried chicken was rubbery. It wasn't edible because of the rubbery flour taste. I took all the breading off and picked the chicken off the bone, took it home to my dogs. They like chicken no matter how bad it is. I really wanted you guys to keep up the simple good food that west Kellogg had.

Place is awesome! Owners and Staff are very warm and welcoming. Breakfast served all day and stuffed burgers are huge! Glad we stopped by and will be back for more ?
Second time coming. First was a fantastic BLT for lunch and tonight was Shrimp, Blt and breaded pork chops for me and my kiddos.The FRIENDLIEST staff, We will be back
My new favorite comfort food restaurant!! The options are plenty, the portions are big and the price is more affordable than franchise restaurants. Glenda will take great care of you with a clever sense of humor, too. While your food is cooking, walk around and peruse the decor because much of it is also for sale. Enjoy!

This is the old Town & Country (HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY). Their food is always great. We ate to much and almost had to be rolled out (ate so much we had trouble walking). Thank you, thank you.
