It’s good, a few years back this location was amazing. I think the long standing manager maybe the name Terry is gone. Now a days it’s good, but not consistently. We order calamari, I like they have the small pieces and it’s not fishy. Zucchini fritters were very greasy. Chicken Marsala was good, spinach wasn’t consistently cooked and salty, I asked for extra sauce. Fettuccini Weesy is a lot of pasta and heats up well. I put Carrabas in the rotation occasionally.
Delicious lunch. Fettuccine chicken Alfredo with peas was very good. Pork Medallions with mashed potatoes very tasty. The lentil soup was extra good. Bread dipping spices with olive oil yummy. Glad Carrabba's is open for lunch now.
I thought the food was amazing, absolutely delicious. A little pricy but definitely worth it!
What can I say about the dining experience? When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly server that was on top of our drink orders as well as getting our orders in for food after passing on an appetizer. After placing our orders and waiting well over 30 minutes for our food in a half full restaurant (seeing our food sit on the counters) to be brought to the table, it finally arrived. The meals that arrived were barely warm, one even needing to be sent back to be reheated due to the amount of time it took for it to arrive at the table (and the person who brought it to the table who seemed absolutely put upon when asking for help regarding my family members cold dish). My personal dish missing items that were listed on the menu. Our server nowhere to be found. We decided to try and just enjoy what we could of our meal. After finishing our meals and declining dessert the check was delivered, and as we waited on the check to return so that we could leave, the server seemed too distracted to return the check to us so that we could depart. I can absolutely understand the wait times if it was busy but today was not one of those days.My family and I have frequented this restaurant for many years always impressed with the food as well as the service and have continued to drive across town to come to a place that we have always enjoyed, however after this experience there is a very small chance that we will be returning. Completely dissatisfied.
(Wish a half Star option was available)2022 Mother’s Day dinner was the worst at Carrabba’s Italian grill Wichita KS.Reservation at 6pm. Was seated at a booth - the request for a table that went ignored for nearly 10 minutes. Finally a manager “Ben” came to assist with moving tables to accommodate our group- our groups table was NOT SET(no silverware), and bread, & drinks were not provided until 45 minutes after ordering. Salads were finally brought after an hour wait.As our party waited we noticed:A party of similar size were seated prior to our seating with similar bad customer service- no drinks, waiting on bread, salads and main dishes. We also noticed parties who were seated after ours get better service, drinks, appetizers, main dishes, bills, make payments and on their way much sooner than our party. We sat down at an unset table at approximately 615pm- did not get served our food until after 820pm.This was a gross fail at customer service I have not witnessed in a long time.Hostess’ did a horrible job at seating and service, waitress’ (serving other tables) apparently seemed bothered by our children or something due to the glares given through out our visit. Our waitress- seemed overwhelmed and stressed- unsure if our order was either taken for other orders or if made at all until we spoke on another large group of similar size who were seated approximately 25-30 minutes after our party; who were seated at a set table, provided bread and drinks, salads, their meal and paid their bill - while our party had yet to get our meal. This restaurant demonstrates extremely poor service, racist service even though people of color are employed here-Poor service and apparent differences service was SAD TO WATCH TAKE PLACE in 2022.Worst MOTHER’S DAY DINNER EVER
This was the worst experience I have had. Their food has gone down the drain since they hired a new head Chef and their manager doesn’t seem to listen to the customers. We witnessed many customers send back food. We ordered the muscles as an appetizer. They came out with more empty and closed shells than the ones that were open. And oh man was the garlic overloaded. It wasn’t a broth, it was a thick paste. Then we waited 35 minutes for our entree to arrive. Needles to say we do not recommend this location and will never be back. Save your money and take our advice to go somewhere else!
Took 45 minutes to get a table for eight even with call ahead seating. Three meals were identical and one of our party had to wait ten minutes after everyone else. Food was good, server was exceptional kept our drinks filled and bread. Prompt and curious.
This place is unbelievably hit and miss. We tried it three different times because our first time was really good. The next two times were horrible. First the food was cold and when we mentioned it, they reheated to an incredible nuclear level. The waitress (same one all three times, strangely) was really angry and not friendly. Overall, the amount it costs to eat here is not worth the 66% chance you're going to have a bad time. Much safer bets for delicious Italian food in the area.
The service is awesome & the staff is super friendly and kind. The chicken soup is delicious, ad is the grilled chicken fettuccine. I didn't care for the lobster ravioli. It was my first visit & I loved it.
Prickly pear margaritas are absolutely wonderful. Almost like drinking juice. Mixed perfectly. Caprese with chicken was very good and the grilled broccoli...nothing better. Except the prickly pear margarita.
