I'd heard good things about the food here and that they stay open late so we decided to give it a try. It wasn't hard to locate but the sign outside is barely lit up so you might keep your eyes open. We were greeted by a young man that answered any questions we had and made a couple of recommendations. We decided to share an order of fried rice and an order of crab Rangoon. The portion size was impressive and was more than enough for 2 people. The rice was hot and tasted alright. We took our order to go and noticed the food had a strong smell, although we still aren't sure why. The meat we ordered (pork) was extremely salty and the flavor was okay. There were certain parts of the rice that were a little mushy. I probably wouldn't order the fried rice again. The crab Rangoon was cooked nice and crisp but the filling was extremely bland and disappointing. We spent over $20 on one entree and the crab rangoon, IF we try again we'll try something different. Oh, they do have a dining area but it was completely empty. It was kind of late though, about 11pm on a Friday night. I most likely wouldn't recommend at this point but am willing to try one more time before I decide that for sure.
In my younger years, I would eat here after a night clubbing. After many years of not visiting this restaurant, I decided to give it a try for nostalgia sake, but the 4 entrees I ordered were very disappointing. The lacking flavor and spices were my main complaint. Even the rice that came with the entrees were dried and seems very poor quality. Oh well, I gave it one last taste test.
Friendly staff and the food was amazing! Great prices for the amount of food. Definitely recommend.
This place has the best duck and General's Chicken. Also in my opinion, it's the best Chinese food spot I've been to.
Very average if not below average in my opinion. Me and my wife usually go to a different Chinese restaurant but, this was the only place that was open. To be frank this place would not be my first choice. The “Spicy Shrimp” was not even spicy in my opinion the sauce the shrimp was in tasted like chicken ramen noodles. My wife had the chicken Lo mien but, the chicken had no flavor whatsoever. The Lo mien made her stomach very upset. Will I ever go back to this place? No. I would not recommend to anyone if you have to go somewhere else I would rather go to Emperor’s Grill. Great service though!
Authentic, opens late and it would be good order to go. Nice and polite owner.
I ordered the curry chicken they cooked it up and I was out in about 10 minutes. It comes with regular rice which is cool I wish you had an option to add fried rice for a few more bucks or something. But overall it was good, nice spice a little more than what you would pay at other Chinese restaurants but I believe better quality more quantity and was definitely a great option at 1:30 am in Wichita when your options are few far and in-between definitely interested in trying out more dishes.
One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time, super nice, clean and good food.
Was open very late at night was why we ordered. The food was good and fresh. The guy at counter was really cool and nice. Would recommend it anytime.
Good place but 16$ for a veg rice and tofu on the side idk…Stacys and hummus would have done fine
