Today I picked up a to-go salad from Avi. The salad was Roasted Pear Salad with grilled chicken. It was so tasty and enough for lunch and dinner. From the start, my over the phone order process was positive and complete. Ms Beverly, hats off to you! Friendly Customer service can be heard in her voice over the phone and she was an absolute delight in person. I will definitely order from here again and hope to get to say hi to Ms Beverly. Stellar customer service!
Not your average hotel restaurant. This place rocks.The service is great, food came out fast, prices were reasonable, and - most importantly - the food was delicious. Seriously tasty. Everything from the ketchup to the garlic bread was home made! The Reuben was one of the best I’ve ever had. 5/5 stars, easily.
Went in with a large party.Ordering - I was not asked if I wanted a drink. So I had water.I ordered chicken tenders.The person next to me ordered shrimp and grits.Food started coming out.Multiple orders were mixed up for our party.No Food for me. None for the person next to me.We waited.Finally found out they were out of grits. At 5:30 on Friday evening. She had to select a different entree.They told me they'd try to figure out where my meal was.After pretty much everyone else had eaten, our food came out.It was good - hence the 2 stars.But why would I ever go back?We had reservations. They knew a large party (20 people) was going to be there. And they completely failed to rise to the occasion.
It was not a good experience, we reserved the private room for Mother’s Day and had 19 of us total. I was told that when I reserved the private room, that I would have a minimum purchase of $250, based on those requirements, I had high expectations. When I made the reservation, I told them there would be 20 of us total, they advised me that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they would take good care of us. When we arrived, I found that they had assigned one server to attend to all of us which is not ideal for such a large party. Hector did the best he could to keep up with us but unfortunately he could not. The food was mediocre at best and they took far too long to get it to us. As an example, we arrived at 1:00 pm and didn’t leave until 4:15 pm. The long dining experience wasn’t because we ate slow or talked for hours it just took that long between appetizers, main course, and desert. My wife enjoyed the time with all of our family but she was not pleased with her dining experience, not the way I hoped to celebrate her on this Mother’s Day. I had high hopes based on the menu selections but unfortunately, I don’t believe we will ever be back. After talking to the management about our experience and how long it took to get food, along with the errors on our orders, she discounted our total by $100. Our bill ended up being 575.00 after tip for 12 adults and 6 children.

our experience at Avi was wonderful. The host and hostess were friendly and helpful. The majority of Avi’s staff was great! The food divine. I had grilled salmon, he had the Delmonico with Brussels sprouts. It was all delicious. Our server was as attentive as he could be while taking care of 2 large tables, in addition to his regular section. . My husband’s 2nd glass of wine came after the check. The downside, We requested a booth, preferably in a quieter area. The hostess took us to the perfect spot, as we were sitting the upstairs female server, said no, they can’t sit there. she moved us to the very front booth with an 18 top and a 12 top right next to us. So much for a nice quiet dinner. In all honesty, that would have been ok if the server had been polite about it. She was curt & unfriendly. I can understand logistics problems, but be nice about it, please. All in all, if you have the opportunity dine at Avi’s.
Celebrated Taco Tuesday here with the chicken salad tacos and grilled Mahi tacos. The both of them were absolutely delicious and I'm coming back for more. Very cozy atmosphere and some seriously chill EDM playing too. Shoutout to the staff who were highly professional and helpful. 5 star experience!
Excellent restaurant and bar. Adjacent to a hotel. Extensive menu with great variety of appetizers entrées and drinks. Great ambiance and fantastic flavor.Servers move fast, they are friendly and care about every detail. Everything was superb ? ? that carrot cake was my favorite!
I normally do not believe in multiple family members voting down a business for an experience. I let my husband write a review for our experience here with my parental units the other weekend. AVI had the nerve to respond with *are you sure your wife is not allergic to chicken*. Wow. No, I am not allergic to chicken. I am however allergic to poorly prepared food and unprepared uninformed staff at AVI.I had a reservation for Sunday at 7pm. I go in the mostly empty restaurant. I wait for a host to be at the host stand and interact with my husband and I. When a staff member eventually arrives I tell them of our reservation. I get a *sigh* and informed that my party is already here and seated upstairs. My husband and I go upstairs to a bar like section. I can see that my party is not here. I pic a table and sit for approx 5 min. Waiters walk by, bartenders at the bar, and not an employee one speaks or acknowledges us. So we get up and go back downstairs to request an actual table and wait for the rest of the party.The next host to speak to me, i request a new table. Keep in mind there are two tables seated downstairs at this time, place is dead. The host tells me he does not know if he can accommodate us or not because its the weekend and we need reservations and he will have to go speak to the manager. Eventually we get seated at a small table near a hall and some continuous in and out very close as well. The waiter does not have any knowledge of the wine list. After we order a bottle, we wait and wait. Eventually he tells us he's getting a manager with a key and will be back with the wine. After another bit he comes back to tell us they are out and is there another bottle we want. Between the four glasses, there was fingerprints and lipstick smudging and stuck on food. So we requested new glasses.After being served I ate one chicken strip Slowly. It tasted off. A few moments later i had to leave the table to vomit because of the chicken.This was a dinner with my parents who i rarely see and were in from out of town and i did not want to make a fuss because i just wanted a good night with them. But after reaching out to this business and getting such an insult as *maybe she is allergic to chicken* when i am almost 35 yo and ate chicken all my life like most americans, AVI is insulting themselves by tossing out such a thoughtless uneducated response.
