The last 3 times I’ve been to Andy’s has been utter disappointment. I order the James brownie and substitute the peanut butter for extra fudge. I also tell them to charge me extra and make sure to add extra fudge blended in. For whatever reason the teenage staff can’t seem to understand the simple request. I’ve even paid for extra fudge yet the fail to add it. Not sure why they find it so complicated.
Customer service is very lacking and poor here. We continue to come for the custard, but our family has reached the cut off for this location.Employees don’t understand the meaning of sanitation here, if your handling cash or cards, why would you touch the cones with your hand? Your transferring germs and bacteria from one surface to another. Also, it’s very unkind to handle your customers food while you and another employee are talking over it. Priority should be taking care of the guest 100% then you can engage in small talk, this should not be done while you are waiting on a customer. Lastly, please teach your employees the meaning of being kind and courteous to ALL, the last visits here we have been over charged when getting custard, this time I asked for a receipt, looking at the receipt I was charged for a “waffle cone” BUT I ordered a “cake” each time I’ve asked was it a price difference I was told “NO” there is a price difference.
I think we stop here nearly every time we come to Wichita. We first got introduced to Andy's while in Springfield, Mo. We were so excited when they came to Wichita. There are not many places that have chocolate soft serve and that is our family's favorite. So many combinations, so Delicious!
Was told “we only fill up our floats under half way so they don’t overflow” 6$ for a float, if it’s filled half way maybe make it half the price lmao. Literally 4 oz of soda
We were there when it was cold outside. The mean girls inside were making another girl stand outside and take orders, when the line was not very long. When we got to the window, you could tell they were making fun of her. She was kind of heavier, and they said, "isn't she doing a great job?" I said, it's too cold, and not necessary to make her do that. They said to her, "you can come in now". Today, went by there, out of bananas. The kid working the window was rude, like omg, my job is so hard. The shortcake in the strawberry shortcake sundae tasted like cornbread. I am done with you people!!!!
Usually Andy’s is 4 1/2 stars but after today, I have to move them down a star and a half, for just the simple fact of the value as you see here. I ordered this item based on one picture I saw on somebody else’s review. I encourage you to look at the other picture of a double dip waffle cone versus the picture I’m posting, very different!
Attempted twice to get a gift card but “system update” won’t allow the workers to process it. Frustrating. No choice but to take my business elsewhere.
They usually do pretty good- but last night, 3/5/22, they managed to run out of frozen custard an hour and a half before close. Still had all the lights on. If “Frozen Custard” is in the name, maybe turn out the lights if you don’t have any more.
The last 4 times I have went there I have been so disappointed! I'm not sure why I keep going back thinking it will change! Overpriced when you are getting ripped off!
Good place to get frozen custard but when I order a chocolate malt with chocolate custard they made it with vanilla and added chocolate syrup and when I asked to have them make it how I ordered it they wanted to charge me for both. I wont be going back. Terrible customer service when it was clearly their mistake.
