Great food place has been around more than 50yrs obviously they doing something right
I don't think there are any words to describe the food. But I'll try...AMAZING, FANTASTIC, EXQUISITE, MOUTHWATERING, MIND-BLOWING, DELICIOUS, FLAVORFUL, TASTY, INCREDIBLY INCREDIBLE, and above....comforting. I've eaten oriental food in the orient. In countless cities, small towns, and major metropolises. Store bought, street food, you name it. But this place is without doubt, the best Chinese food in the world. And you get what you pay for and more. Service with not just a smile, but heart to. Five star quality meals, in a humble restaurant. It's like hugging an old familiar friend. It's home. You don't find that very often, if ever. I will be coming back, surely, for more. ✨, cuz 5 stars aren't enough.
Shocked is an understatement. I was very skeptical of this restaurant due to the location. To my surprise, best egg rolls I've ever eaten in my life. This is a hidden gem in our community. I'll definitely be back.

Everything was delicious as always. Two of us asked for a couple of items to be made vegan. There was no problem with this and everyone had an enjoyable experience!

Great little hole in the wall restaurant! The food was awesome and they people were very friendly. I was concerned about the name at first but it's Asian owned and not my business. I personally don't use that word but it's great to support their business!
Great place for lunch. I used to eat there 20 ya ears ago and it was great then. Small dining room but don't let that stop you.
The service is rather abrupt and the food is much too salty.
The food here is always super fresh and tasty. I've been coming here for almost 30 years and it's always wonderful! Try the pepper steak.Update: I've looked at some of the bad reviews of Ah-So and it honestly seems like those people prefer the heavy sauce laden, msg loaded Chinese American food that you get at a lot of places around town. This is not that and is why I love it. They take the time to make each dish individually and it is always tasty and hot. No food warmers or cafeteria style scoop and serve here. If Dillons or Panda Express are you're idea of good Asian food then this is not for you. This place is family owned and is amazing!Wichita strong! Support LOCAL businesses!
