Love the place. The new owners definitely got better meat. However, I wish you guys would update your hours or even have a social media/update your site when you’re open. A lot of the times I try to go when it says you’re open, it’s closed for family events/switching of hours. Which is fine. You deserve to close for family events or have hours you want for your operation. However, I wish you’d please update your hours so I don’t waste my time. Also, please don’t close on Sundays. Keep the specials on Sundays. Many other places close on Sunday as well which always made Tortilla Jacks my go to for Sundays.
Been going to this place since I was a kid, and the food is as good now as it was back then. The meat tastes great, the tortillas and shells are always warm, and the atmosphere of the store is very relaxing and welcoming. If you haven't tried it all before, you should. You won't regret giving them a chance!
Always a local favorite. Our food was ready in ten minutes and our order was accurate as always. This is a Topeka staple and should be visited by everyone. I ordered the Nacho Platter and crustos and hubby ordered a burrito and enchiladas. Definitely one of our local comfort food go-tos.

This place is awful. I live 3 blocks from here and my food was cold by the time I got home. I ordered a taco salad and it was soaked with water from the olives and tomatoes. My boyfriend got a tostada and was disgusting he took 2 bites and threw it away. If you are looking for good Mexican restaurant for a great price Vuelve A La Vida is the best in Topeka.
We have been going to Tortilla Jack's for years. Flavor profile consistent. Only downside at last visit was the beans on our tostados were cold. We like our food hot!
Been going to this for so many years i cant out my finger on it. The food was the wordt ive ever had, three tacos,burraco, snd grand burrito, with white Queso…. Complete waste of my money and time waiting, the burraco was great the tacos and the burrito lacked beef snd lettuce for the tacos…the burrito had more beans than anything else not to mention small, and now i just bit into something foreign.Will not be returning to this place…should have just went with my first choice.. too bad they didn’t have negative stars…:: cause thats all this trip proved to be was negative
Nothing fancy, but good food and lots of it. I've been coming since the 1980s and this place is a Topeka tradition!
This place needs to close. Poor customer service. Poor food quality. Didn’t try and make the situation I was in any better didn’t care only wanted to keep the money and get people out the door. How are they still in business? I really wish they will close for good. There’s a lot of “Mexican” places to eat that are ten times better. Topeka stop going the food is awful.
