I'm a fan of the following: Pan fried tacos, strong margaritas, clean restaurants, and patios. To be honest - finding all of the above is often a challenge in Topeka...Tequilas Mexican Restaurant & Bar in North Topeka delivered.They have an adorable little patio. We were the only ones out there. A CRYING SHAME TOPCITY. Shame, shame, I know your name!The food was great. I usually get chicken pan fried tacos but here they offer their ground beef with potatoes ? Guess what I chose.The restaurant was spotless. Including the restroom - YES, shake it off Love. You read that right. A clean Topeka bathroom, don't ruin it for me.The icing on the cake was the friendly service we recieved. Very sweet and attentive waitress.The only drawback was their margaritas are weak - tasty - but weak. Bring a Margarita Jaliscos frozen marg to this patio and you'd have to kick me out.Highly recommend. If you're petty like me - this is your spot.
We went for a late mother's day dinner and it was sort of disappointing. There was no air conditioning, so it was extremely warm in the place. We had to ask them to turn on the ceiling fans and then we saw them bring in a large fan for the kitchen. The food was good bit very skimpy. I had 3 soft taco's and there was hardly any meat in them. For the price of one they could or should have put all of the meat in one taco. My granddaughter ordered 3 hard taco's, then had to order 2 more because all she got was shell. The bill had been paid but the taco's still hadn't even came out. We had to ask the waiter to get them when he asked if we needed anything else, after we were still sitting there 15 minutes after he took and brought back the bill. The margaritas melted before we could get them drank because it was so hot in there. I used to really like going here, but don't think I'll be rushing back.
I looked around, and nobody there was under 300 lbs. I knew I was in for a treat.Joking aside, great service, great queso, great value. Would recommend.
We had a surprise birthday party for our sister's 62nd birthday. There were 10 of us present, and the workers were wonderful at keeping our drinks, chips, and salsas refilled. They brought a sombrero out for our sis to wear when we sang Happy Birthday to her Tequilas was a wonderful venue!!! Great food and great service!
Hands one of the best mexican restaurants I have been too! The food was amazing. The staff and our waiter were very friendly! Definitely a 10/10 and will for sure be back!
Very good food, service was great. They have enough help that there is no long wait to get your food and drinks. There were 5 of us and we enjoyed our dining in.
Nice clean restaurant.Waiter was nice.Food was cooked well- this restaurant didn't burn the vegetables in the fajita plates. The chicken and steak were tender.Good portions of sides that came with the meal.I wish the plate that had the sides on it was warm like other restaurants are because the beans and rice were cold uponarrival.Even though the meats were very tender they lacked flavor.I gave this experience a 4 because compared to the many other Mexican restaurants we dined at in the Topeka Ks area the Fajita meal was one of the best.
Prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Fresh chips and salsa brought to the table within a minute , seated right away.Food served on a hot plate ensuring the food stayed hot. I had the Pork and my teenage daughter had the ground beef Tequilas burrito served with rice and black beans and covered on white cheese sauce. Delicious....
Good food. Decent service, one of the best on this side of town! A little on the expensive side for our family of 7 we usually eat for about $100 with tip. This by far our favorite place to eat out. Strongly recommend the fajitas!
