When the Legion does funerals around Dover, we always stop in to eat there. Great food and awesome staff. We have never been disapointed.
We (4) saw their lunch special sign outside the door, Loaded Potato. It was fantastic! Small town atmosphere, quick friendly service. Clean and well lit. We had the pulled pork loaded potato with multi fruit cobbler. Highly recommended. Go there!
If you don't get off the freeway or expressway to dine at this establishment you're missing out on a fantastic meal and home baked pie. Take the time an go!
Hidden gem in Kansas! Friday night dinner was fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn and WOW was it top notch!! Friendly atmosphere and staff along with world famous pies!! I found this place through a resident I care for & I had to stop to pick her up a slice of raisin crème pie!
With respect towards everyone there, the Salisbury steak special was both over priced and insulting.1) the " steak" was less than 3oz of a poorly ground meatoaf fatty patty.2) the " home fries were french fries chopped in halves!!!!!???about 2oz worth3) with a bland biscuit4) no better than a Jr highschool meal....

It is a bit of a drive from Topeka, but do it anyway. This cafe is right out of the past. You walk in and feel the warmth. Everyone seems to know each other.The restaurant has recently been sold and has undergone a huge remodel. It is much improved while still keeping its original appeal. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.The service is outstanding. I am very picky and am happy to say the breakfast was delicious! Everything was hot and well prepared. The coffee was really good and they had toast made from homemade wheat bread.Much has been said about the pie, and they are right. The pie is perfect!

Food was good ,service need some improvement. After they brought the food . It was hard to have them come back and see if we needed anything, like more to drink
