We had a group of 8 (7 adults and 1 child). We asked to be seated outside. There were 8 tables on the patio and no one sitting outside. We asked if we could all be seated together by pushing 2 of the tables together. We were told twice that they were not allowed to push two tables together. Our party of 8 had to sit at two separate tables, but they had no problem charging each ticket 18% gratuity.

Very disappointing! The food is just not what it used to be. My black beans were served cold and the white cheese dip is yellow. My husband had the Tacos Al Pastor and he was ok with it. My two stars was basically because of our service. Our server had not even looked our way for quite a while so my husband finally had to raise his voice to get his attention. We got a huge eye roll. This did not give us much incentive to leave our usual 20% tip Victor ?. We are in the free queso club but there are too many other good Mexican restaurants so doubt we will ever return.

The worst To-Go service in Topeka. You walk in the door and just stand there waiting... 5 minutes, 10 minutes... all while servers walk right by you and don't say anything. No service bell, no cameras at the door, no door chime. How do the kitchen staff know if someone is there? The answer is, they don't. Which is why you wait, until getting frustrated enough to go around and tell the bartender, who has to walk to the kitchen to then tell someone to come out. All the while, to-go orders are sitting under their ridiculously cold AC vent, and are cold by the time you get it home.

Their food is always served hot and delicious!! My family and I like it that On the Border sells quarts of their salsa and other dips for $8.00apiece. A friend told me they offered quarts to go, and I've done it ever since.Would recommend this place.

No serves or bar service from 3-5 on Friday eve.Food was barley warm and not much flavor.Queso was luke warm and tasteless also. We’ve stopped there a few times recently and it hasn’t gotten any better. We’ll continue to frequent the other Mexican Restaurant 2 blocks away. They are constantly good.

We love OTB. I ordered the brisket tacos and couldn't eat them because the brisket was extremely salty. The white queso is apparently no longer white according to the waitress, it's yellow now. Otherwise I think things went off without a hitch. They didn't charge me for the tacos but I didn't eat them so I wouldn't think they would.

A bit of a wait but well worth it! Our waitress was perfect. Just the right amount of attention and a great smile. The young man at the check in station was superb!! Wyatt remained calm and professional through everything. There were a few times I would have have had to remind people of their manners! Kudos to to all who were there this evening, Our evening was pleasant, in large part, because of you all. Thank you !!

Always a good place to eat and rarely mess up an order, but if they do, they make it right! Love the chips and salsa too! ?

My Son, brought me here for my birthday, the staff were friendly and we waited no more than 2 minutes before we got seated. Our wait person was excellent and friendly. We ordered our food and did not have to wait but a few minutes. Our food was brought out, well cooked and still hot. Best food I’ve had from a Tex-mex restaurant in a very long time. I will certainly keep going back.
