The food here is consistently awesome, the servers are very friendly, and 2 hours is plenty of time to eat all you want. Repeat customers here. Best sushi in the area, in my opinion.
The staff is very polite, service was relatively quick and it was pretty clean. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was all you can eat sushi. We did have an accident where one of the sodas launched itself across the table. But left full. I think if you don’t eat everything you order they add a surcharge. To prevent waste.
The food was good. The signs outside say "buffet" and "hibachi" so you might expect there to be a physical buffet that you can select from or a line where they cook your hibachi in front of you. Neither of these is the case. Our only problem with the place was that the ordering process is overly complicated. You can get the "all you can eat" and order whatever you want from the menu but they want you to clean your plate completely before eating more and then you order again. However, if you order the all you can eat, everyone at your table has to as well, which is 22 bucks per person. So if you have a person with you that just wants an entree off the menu, you ALL have to order off the regular menu. If you all order off the regular menu you don't have to write down what you want, but if you all get the all you can eat you have to check it off on a paper menu. I do understand that this business model is likely more efficient for them, but it unfortunately feels a little business centered instead of customer centered. I wanted to share this so that perhaps someone who has not tried it yet would know what to expect and it wouldn't be so confusing.
For all you can eat it was good. We ate the lunch menu, and the rolls were perfect. I expected rice heavy rolls but was surprised that they weren't. Will be back.
Great service, wonderful food served quickly. A large dining area helps cut down on wait times. Very family friendly, clean and a good value. I highly recommend.
Went with my family of 6! READ EVERYTHING ON THE MENU BEFORE EATING OR SITTING DOWN! Got charged 18% gratuity for a family of six I paid 21.99 a person got charged for not eating all our rolls. One of the kids didn’t even eat! And yet still got charged for 18%.
My favorite restaurant in Topeka. I think this is much better than the other sushi places. I only get the All You Can Eat though as it's very cheap.Service is always quick, prices are consistent. The all you can eat is the way to go, about $18 a person.
Went because it is close to where we were staying and also because we like sushi. Nice concept where you pay a set price $21.99 per person for all you can eat sushi. Food came out quickly and they asked if you needed another menu for another round of choices. Great variety and mix of sushi.
I don't remember how much they charged for the lunch menu, but from what I understand, it is a limited menu. The dinner menu is more 'complete' but the cost was $20+. Although the tout it's "all you can eat" they bring you one plate at a time. It is not a buffet per se. And, they have a time limit set, of two hours. So, I can kinda see it being an issue if you have a large group, and you are talking a lot...the value depreciates IMO. The food was okay, a little on the bland side--but okay.
DO NOT EAT HERE! First the sushi is not crunchy (shrimp tempera), the rice is hard, it's disgusting! Also THEY PUT A SURCHARGE IF YOU DO NOT EAT EVERYTHING ON YOUR PLATE! Yep....like the victorian times....This is America YOU DO NOT PUT ANOTHER CHARGE for people not eating everything. This isn't Japan! This isn't communist! Also a dang 2 hour time limit? For me and my husband yeah it's fine but again AS AMERICANS WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE HOWEVER LONG WE NEED! For travelers GO TO LINGS! Lings and Oriental Express is so much better and none of this bull!
