Food poisoning all day......Covid did not compare to how sick I got eating the california burrito.I guess my mistake for getting it late at night.The grease created a pool in the bag it came in.I was unassuming. Never again.I've only had food poisoning 2 times in my life and both times were from Topeka taco shops./ponchos
This place has amazing food. They're fiesta tacos and they're grilled chicken burritos are mouth watering, late night craving, munchie killers. Great for breakfast lunch dinner midnight snack and any food time. I can't pester the food enough you just have to try it. Price is a tad expensive but it's totally worth it. The place is clean, bathrooms are clean and always stocked with tp paper towels and soap. They have quarter machines for the kids or for you if you like. Staff are always friendly, kind and courteous. And they're not stingy with napkins or sauce and while you're there refills are always free.
I love this place. The rolled tacos are great. Everything is always hot and fresh. Go there 2 to 3 times a week lately.
They don't care about their customers and the only thing that drives business is the fact that their food is sort of closer to actual Mexican food than Mexican-American food. Their prices are way too high, they employ people that are wholly incompetent, and while the food tastes good, be prepared to have it underprepared or prepared incorrectly at least 75% of the time. The owner, I've spoken to on multiple occasions, doesn't care if your order is wrong and she's completely unapologetic. I went the day after a wrong order that I ordered late at night, her response was that I should've called immediately rather than coming in-person approximately eight hours later. She refused to replace my incorrect order. I wasted roughly $20 on junk that is not consistent with my palate. After visiting both of their locations about five times total, and only getting my order correct once, I will never go again. Call me insane for continuing to go after all these mistakes, but I've learned my lesson and will never go again. The owner is horrid and the workers don't have a clue how to listen to a very simple order.
Fish tacos were very nice and crispy! I used to not like beans and rice, but I've acquired a taste for it. Sometimes it's not seasoned enough, but here's it was perfect!
Love the breakfast, I don't know what they do to the scramble eggs, this this is my Favorite with cheese on top. I will have to try and take a picture,but I eat them up soooo fast. ??
I feel like this particular taco shop is going downhill. The limes are always brown, and my burrito has been super greasy lately :( I got an orchata today that tasted like straight milk. I absolutely love the one on 37th st though!
Long wait time for inside dining. Took about 20 minutes for our order. The rolled up tacos were said to have ground beef, and after the wait, came to me with chicken. The meat was chewy...but large portions and sauces and salsa were great. I'd maybe give it another try...but..
I've never had a bad experience. Staff is always pleasant and thorough and the food is always great! Fill your stomach for a decent price compared to everywhere else for a quick bite.
Yareli a worker there doesn't listen at all when you order. Confirmed a easy order 3 times at the microphone and then again at the window and it was still wrong. Called the store and as I proceeded to tell her it was wrong and my receipt showed it was charged but wrong she then hung up on me so I had to call back. Then the guy who answered said my order was "complicated" all it was, was adding cheese to 4 small tacos.
