Really enjoyed the meal. This is not an americanized Mexican restaurant. Really delicious food at a reasonable price.I would definitely go back. Many more interesting dishes to try.
In Topeka for business and tried this restaurant based on review rating. It did not disappoint. Authentic Mexico City cuisine made fresh daily by this family owned business. Delicious and not your typical chain Mexican restaurant food. Gracious service by the owners and very reasonably priced. Large enough portions to share so you can try more of a variety, which I highly recommend. We will go back next time we are in Topeka.
Good food and service but the drinks were pretty pricey
The food was good but like other reviews said it is differnt. For example, there are no chips and salsa. The horchata is outrageously expensive at $3.25 and I was not offered a refill. The prices in general seem high for the area. I spent $21 on lunch! Overall I think it was trying to be fancy Mexican food. I get that but people of topeka are not a fancy type people. Lastly the menu is all in Spanish so it helps to know at least a little.
Kansas Plaza prices for Mexican food in Topeka! Humm NO! There are Authentic Mexican restaurants in KCK that charge half the price for real authentic Mexican food, I rather make the drive ?
Worst tacos ever had. They did not even bother to heat it. Fat still white in carne asada, chicken drier than sahara desert. I called and complained guy did not even offer anything complimentary. Look at the pic here. Cold tortilla, dry meat, nothing good at all.

When I say AUTHENTIC, I mean don't come here expecting the same food on the menu as every other Mexican restaurant in town. This cuisine is based on the more traditional style of food found in Mexico.The food is excellent. Fresh flavors, and diverse menu options, you can find something for everyone. They have a variety of different meats for tacos or Machetes. Their alcoholic beverages are delicious, unique, and fresh. Their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.We had Los Mandiles Rojos cater for our wedding reception. They were very accommodating to our wants and needs, and delivered an excellent service. People were still talking about the food at our reception months after it had happened. We were very pleased with the overall service, the food quality, and the affordable price. We would recommend Los Mandiles Rojos to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican catering service.

We tried dinner here on Tuesday and it was phenomenal! Our waiter was so kind and attentive, and answered all of our questions. We can’t wait to be back, my only “complaint” is the menu was so good it was hard to decide on one dish!
Fist time back in person since COVID started - crazy to think it’s been that long but as usual, these guys are on the ball. The food is awesome and the staff is even better. Highly recommend.
