Our waitress was excellent. She could run the place and everything would be great. When I'm asked what would you like to drink and I say"white zinfandel". It was told to me that the white zinfandel bottles are to high and the MANAGER ON DUTY ON SUNDAY JUNE 12 COULD NOT REACH THEM AND THEN SHE WOULD HAVE TO ASK THE PEOPLE AT THE BAR TO MOVE. I DID SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND YES SHE COULD NOT REACH THE BOTTLES OF WINE. THE MANAGER DID NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS CORRECT.
If you haven’t tried Longhorn’s curbside service, you should! They have dedicated to go staff, and the food is hot, fresh and fast. I’ve encountered several diff curbside servers, and they are all excellent! Twyla, Jasmine, and even managers jump in to assist- Alyssa, Will. I’m not a big spender, but for less than $5, I get a large loaded baked potato and a side salad with house made bleu cheese dressing. So delicious! Thank you longhorn! Now you just need to offer a veg plate for $8-9.
Very good place to eat, took a little while to set us but we were a big party.
Friendly and accommodating staffFrom the hostess (Alicia) who arranged for me to have comfortable seating is without putting a server out of her section… that takes consideration for all parties involved in this mid Saturday lunch rush.My server (Bybee.. I know I butchered the spelling of her name but she was a wonderful server. Great smile and attitude. Attentive and without hovering takes paying attention to your guests as an individual. Thank you, B.My whole meal was amazing. Everything came out at a great pace, even with me obnoxious and ordering appetizers after my meal was already ordered.Come to find out, like everywhere in town.. they were a little short staffed which made telling my experience all the more important. One guy and one manager holding down the kitchen in the middle of weekend rush takes skill! Alyssa obvious knows how to jump in where needed and make sure the restaurant as a whole is running smoothly.I will absolutely be backThank you for changing my day around.
Sunday evening, light crowd yet somehow it still felt busy. We sat at the bar the bartender assuming was new because she came off flustered and a little irritated which showed in her service. We ordered cheesey stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer and that they were!!! I would definitely recommend ordering those. The pork chops and chicken were a tab but salty however was hot, looked great and was to satisfaction.
Gotta admit, even though it's a franchise restaurant, on a Tuesday night even, this was the best steak I've had in ages. The lobster tail tasted as good or better than anything you'd usually find in Kansas, and if the mashed potatoes were instant, they fooled me. The lobster of course was a little rubbery, but not unpleasantly, and again, Kansas. Delicious meal at a very reasonable price. And the staff was super friendly!
Good food but service terrible. Had a large group of 22. We weren't seated with a 5:30p reservation until 6:15p. Drink orders were slow after being seated. Half of table got salad and main course. Other side got salad 15 minutes later and main course 15 to 20 minutes after that. The first half were finished before the other side got their salad. Medium rare order was much closer to rare. Again good food but poor timing in delivery and limited interaction with the two waiters. I won't go back.
We went in a group of 8 about a 20 minute wait for a table. It took about 40 min for our food to come out. It was busy so understandable. My daughter became nauseous after eating half her burger. It seemed we all took 80% of our food home. I am not sure I am going to eat the leftovers. Our server was nice and attentive.
As always, excellent food. Ok so the sirloin was 10% u chewable but that's a steak. Ribeye was perfection. Cooked perfectly, bit over seasoned, sweet potato perfection. Our waitress must have been new, but she tried. Great atmosphere and busy for a Monday. Good reason why. Would recommend and will be back.
Very disappointed with the quality and preparation of our ribeye steaks on our most recent visit last week.My wife's steak was over peppered and somewhat overcooked. She ordered light-medium. It arrived at our table just over medium-well.My steak was heavily over salted. I had ordered light-medium as well. It arrived medium-well too.We ended up only eating a very small portion of either steak at the restaurant. Took them home and I rinsed them both off under warm water to dilute and remove the excess seasoning.Doing that made them at least edible, if not still much tougher than we'd expected. It took my three days to actually eat mine. I was bound and determined to at least eat what we'd already paid for...The rest of our meals (baked potatoes, bread and drinks) we're fine.Service by our waitress was prompt, friendly and professional. Cleanliness and atmosphere was fine. We've dined at Longhorn Steakhouse several times previously over the years and never had a bad meal before this experience.I'm not sure what the problem was this time. Maybe a new cook? I don't know for sure.We more than likely won't be back for a while, but maybe we'll try again sometime in the future...
