Great service. They only seem to have two actual wait staff on, but people I took to be a manager and chef filled in, bringing food, fetching extra napkins, generally checking that we had what we need. There was no wait to sit and a reasonable wait to order and receive food. The food was satisfying, our orders with modifications were correct. The physical environment is clean, some of the booths are worn, but nothing too bad. Everything was absolutely fine but seeing everyone who worked their pitch in and keep a smile on their face made for an especially pleasant atmosphere.
The restaurant was freezing. Everyone in there had on a jacket or was hunched over trying to get warm. But, lots of places are that way when it is hot outside so I looked past that.My gluten free pancakes were doughy, my bacon had obviously been cooked earlier in the morning, then covered to keep warm so it was soggy. I get that they are trying to save time by cooking bacon in a batch ahead of time, but covering it only serves to make it soggy. The exact opposite of the crispy I asked for. The hash browns were cold and burnt on the bottom side. My impression is the grill is turned up way too high in an effort to speed up the process of cooking (which inadvertently makes the word cooking null and void), hence burning the area on the grill while leaving the inside raw. The manager did come over to our table and took my non edible food off our bill.I didn't ask about my partner's meal. But he ate his entire, non gluten free meal.
LOVE the fact that my son could get gluten-free waffles and pancakes. We went every morning for nearly a week while on vacation visiting family. The server recognized us and brought us our usual drinks right after we sat and asked if we wanted the same order as the day before. It was all delicious!
I mean what can I say its IHOP. Hard to give a overview of the crowds. Just depends on the time of the day. Perfect during the day. But be ready for noise and ppl falling out their seats if it's after 2am and it's the weekend. That's when the party animals come in.
Terrible customer service. Went in at 3 am with 1 table eating, 9 tables were dirty. We were told it would be 5 minutes while she cleaned tables, didn't clean tables instead stood and talked to the cook then told me to go ahead and sit because there was one clean, which ended up being dirty. I'm confused how there was not one table clean???! At 3 AM?
Susan was delightful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Offered us many different options. My friend and I ordered the same meal, the Buttermilk Chicken and it was worth itOverall, IHOP is a great place to eat something different if you don't go all the time
Service was slow. Place wasn't busy at all. Food was barely warm. Pancakes tasted like they'd been cooked perviously and warmed when ordered. Flat and hard. The coffee was good. The one busy waitperson couldn't get help to save her life. 5 wait staff and only 4 tables were full. Team work guys and dolls was lacking.
My grandfather and I werent greeted we were just ushered into althe gloomiest spot in the building next to the trash, and bathrooms and it smelled terrible. The place is dirty, smelled horrible. No thanks.
What I enjoyed: I ordered pie and coffee which were both very good. The wait staff was very attentive once I was seated. Most were masked which at this date in the pandemic (first week of March 2022) is not necessary, but it showed their concern for patron safety and I appreciated that.Where I felt improvement was needed: I waited over 7 minutes to be seated mid morning during the week with less than 10 tables being used. I had to ask the cashier, "Should I just seat myself?" He had been busy with paperwork, but had definitely seen me waiting so I assumed he was waiting for a team member to come out and seat me. But he said, "Oh! No, I'll do it". Once at my table, I immediately experienced the foods the previous guests had enjoyed on my hands and clothing. Gross. I asked my wait staff if the table could be cleaned and pointed specifically to the area that was sticky while I used the bathroom to wash my hands and get the sticky grossness off my clothes. However upon my return I found that the table hadn't been cleaned. Really? So I cleaned it myself with the provided napkin. When my coffee arrived I noticed that the coffee pot too was dirty. It had coffee stains all over it which was extremely off putting and unappetizing.Overall my experience was less than optimal. Basic public hygiene at the point of service fell far, far short of the lowest end of the bar. However, I will return in a month or 2 to try again. Perhaps that will give management time to hire more help and train them in proper hygiene practices.
bad service this right here just makes me throw up you know the food was foul just everything in general was bad , bad customer service we sat there waiting to be fed for 3 hours straight we arrived at 10 and left at 1 but overall dont recommend comming to ihop anymore
