The atmosphere has a great BBQ county theme to it, well lit, clean, and organized. The menu is a little cluttered but easy to read none the less.The price is above the value and taste of the food, especially how bland the food is.The spicest ingredient is not the mild or hot sauce, but the black pepper. Other then that the food is extremely bland. Absolute lack of spices, or should I say none at all.Other then that the beef brisket is quite soft, not spiced at all, but has definte potential with spices. The pulled chicken was God awful dry, however with some grease and spices could definitely be a hot item too.I wouldn't recommend going here unless COVID has arrested you to a life long sentence of bland food, so regardless then this would be the place for you.
Out of state TEXAN deciding to give some KC style Bar-B-Q. Brazen enough to walk in with my Texans by the Grace of God t-shirt on. Manager took my order and offered up some burnt ends. We’re very tasty and tender. Sold my wife and mother-in-law on Brisket with a variety of slides. Brisket is chopped, not sliced as it would be in Texas, but moist smokey and delicious. The portions were huge. Both ladies had meat to go! My ribs were well smoked and sauced. Very tender but still on the bones so you could easily peel the meat from the bone. Recommend the stop and checking them out!
They made a mistake on a take out orderLike the main dish lol.But with a big smile and a huge apology they bent over backwards to make sure I was completely satisfied.We all make mistakes, but the manager was absolutely wonderful plus has great people skills. This is my Topeka BBQ place to eat.
K.C. BBQ connoisseur here. This place can hold its own with any K.C. joint! Got the two meat dinner - ribs and hot links with potato salad and slaw. Potato salad and slaw were pretty unremarkable. Not bad, just pretty run of the mill. The hot links were very good, with just enough heat to make my forehead sweat a bit. They get 5 stars for the ribs. Cooked to perfection...tender with just the right amount of pull, nice bark, great flavor...didn't need to be masked with sauce. My only suggestion is that they remove the membrane and they would be absolutely perfect! Well done Hog Wild! Will be back for sure the next time I'm in Topeka.
Very much enjoyed bbq that we ordered and ate at this restaurant (drive through also available). We had not been here before and made an order - person taking the order suggested a combo that gave us more food at less price!! How's that for customer service? Solid B+/A- on everything except turkey. BBQ beef was far better (ok, generally you don't order turkey at a BBQ place. Same holds true here. Other meats much better. Free public parking available in lot.
The food is decent but you’ve got to get past the terrible customer service. Why offer squealing sauce as an option if you are just going to berate the customers that request it. If you are going to speak poorly about your customers and crack jokes about them because you don’t want to lift the jug to poor special sauce into a to go cup for a drive thru customer then at least make sure you shut the window so I don’t have to listen you it as you process my debit card for $80. There are other places to eat in town. We won’t be back - I don’t mind paying well for food or service, but it won’t cost my dignity. The man working the drive thru window should be ashamed at the things he said.

Hot BBQ is the name of the game at Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q. Decent smoked bbq with good value is what I found here. I had the Carolina style and the pulled pork was soft and moist. The bun was really soft and had a good flavor. The baked beans had their own unique flavor and so did the sauce selection. If you want hot and fast bbq, check this place out!
This place is fantastic and delicious. Great service. We had the baked potatoes, one had ham omg it was so good. Also had ribs YUMMY SCRUMPTIOUS. PLEASE GO HERE YOU WON'T REGRET IT ???
Great food and prices. I had the hot links and brisket. Sides were Cole slaw and baked beans. Great portions!
