Passing through Topeka, I had a major craving for mex and queso, specifically! Found this place online, called for a take out order and picked it up on our way out of town. Very friendly staff, quick service and DELICIOUS asada tacos! My craving was satisfied with their queso blanco… they even gave us 2 bags of chips and 2 salsa cups to feed my family of 4. Five stars for an all-around great experience! Gracias Muy Mucho! Yummmm!!!!

Unbelievable experience!!!!This has to be the worst and most embarrassing experience that we have encountered at any eating establishment we have been too. We ordered our food and ate, the waiter brought our tickets and we paid. The waiter returned to our table and told us to have a nice evening. As we walked out - the owner came running out of the establishment at yelled at us, 'You are not leaving without paying your bill.' 'Get back here and pay your bill you are going to eat and leave without paying.' We walked back in and explained that we did pay our bill - we called the waiter over to the table were we were sitting (while everyone in the restaurant stared) and the waiter explained they did pay - the gentleman gave me a $100 bill for his ticket but I forgot to put the ticket in the drawer. The owner then demand that we leave - no apology - no I am sorry for the mistake - nothing? We would eat there on a regular basis (every Friday evening) and have never been treated like this before at this place or in any eating establishment. At the least - you could have apologize for causing embarrassment to me and my friends in front of all the patrons that were in the restaurant. We never will eat in your establishment ever again and we will let everyone that we know how you treat your customers.

Saw positive reviews and stopped in for lunch. This just describes my one-visit experience. Service was slow and manner was abrupt. The place is clean and nicely decorated. We arrived early, but the place soon filled up more with the downtown lunch crowd. My husband's order was acceptable but pretty much like any other Mexican place in Topeka--nondescript. I ordered huevos rancheros. (Puffy's, of all places, is the only place that got it 90% right.) I knew it was liable to not go well, but that's what I really wanted to eat...So, I gave it a shot. Eggs were described as over easy, but were served over-hard. Sauce was supposed to be ranchero, but my eggs were covered in red enchilada sauce. These were the worst ever. My suggestion would be to take this item off the--rather large--menu. A simple menu is usually the best plan. (Our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area is El Potro in Lawrence.)

Best food in town by far, definitely wouldnt be disappointed once you get your meal. Try it out for yourself

On a suggestion from a coworker my wife and I tried this little Mexican restaurant downtown Topeka. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Its not fancy dining, but the tastebuds jumped for joy. We had the queso, tried the dinner sampler and had some Mexican tacos (pork and chorozo). Oh my gosh! Kudos to the cook, everything was great. We will be coming back.

Enjoyed the food. Great menu variety.

Very nice venue. We sat downstairs. The food was tasty and quality. Our waitress was a rock star. We will be back!

Food was great , service was awesome & to top it off someone paid for our order . Would recommend .

Were able to customize an order for me. Being vegan and getting delecious bean street tacos were absolutely fantastic. Ty.
