Wonderful trip for ice cream on the way to the lake for a nice evening
THE REVIEW:We didn’t see or need an owner or manager so they were self-sufficient employees. 5⭐️Staff wore uniform shirts and looked like they cared about their appearance. They had good attitudes. Forgot one of my blizzards so it was given to me for free! Very knowledgeable friendly and good customer service! 5⭐️The line was long but moved quickly. 4⭐️Entertainment - they have a sitting area out in front of the store. 3⭐️Soft serve Ice cream tastes fresh from the machine. Portions were the correct size. Utensils and napkins were given. The cost was high in comparison to store-bought ice cream yet average in comparison to other ice cream shops. 4⭐️Drinks - taste made fresh. Good portion. 5⭐️We went through the drive-thru. Didn’t notice any trash outside. 5⭐️The parking lot isn’t well lit and the order sign wasn’t lighted. Nobody wants to sit in a dark parking lot waiting for ice cream. 3⭐️Layout - easy access to the drive-thru and not trapped if you change your mind. 5⭐️Overall it’s a good place for ice cream and we will be visiting the drive-thru again! Was just there we ordered he said he only heard 2 of the four things we ordered and to repeat what we ordered, he repeated and we pulled forward, the two items that we had to repeat came out ok, the chocolate malt was okay, my wife ordered berry cherry chip or something like that didn't come out right , we told them it was ordered with whip cream, the kid said okay and we told them just a small side would be ok to make it easier, he goes in and we thought he was getting it, then this young woman with a attitude say well that will be 75 cent, we said we already paid she said no and I showed her the receipt, she said they didn't charge for the whip and thats why we didn't get it, so can we have the money, I was like so you want me to pay for your mistake no I want what we ordered, and she slammed the window and walked awayso you mess up and give us attitude over 75cents . Teach your children who you have working for you what customer service is, a happy customer comes back and disappointed one doesn't
Customer service and ice cream was amazing.
I would give 0 out of 5 if I could. I can understand having staffing issues but 1 DQ isn't open until 5 pm. And the other apparently forgot that DQ does in fact make ice cream cakes. Rude lady at the drive thru who wanted to argue that fact with me. I won't be going back to any DQ in Topeka KS.
Great customer service and my blizzard's tastes great only issue is the price being so high.
Went to DQ to buy blizzard cupcakes for a special occasion. They didn’t have any cupcakes. Asked for the small cake. Gentleman first said they had them but when I finally got to the window he said they didn’t have any. The smallest cake was the full size blizzard cake. I was never asked about colors I wanted. And I was never asked if I want anything written in it. I came home with a full size cake for 10-12 people (only need for 3) with Happy Birthday on it but it’s not for a birthday. Soooo disappointed in this location! I will drive across town if ever need something like this again. Or go to Baskin Robbins.
I walked in on an employee with pink hair wiping what looked like snot on the toilet paper holder. Will never go back, store was disgusting.
Great service! Stopped by while going to look at Christmas lights.
Decided to stop here for a couple of their chicken baskets. Not only were they overpriced ($17 + for two), the gravy container was only half full, no lights on when we arrived so you couldn’t read the menu, the French fries were cold and you couldn’t understand the person inside taking your order. Don’t think we will try them again any time soon.
