Went there there was no one in line and only two employees taking orders. They were taking their time making everything and people started to line up behind us. The girl had a bad attitude and the guy messed up my order completely. We drove from far to be disappointed.
Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Cold Stone! Walked in 15 minutes before close stood in line for 8 minutes then was told that they were closing in 7 minutes so we needed to leave and that they would not serve us. Worst customer service I’ve had anywhere in my life. Moreover, 2 other families walked in while we were leaving and they were also asked to leave. Don’t know how places like this stay in business
Only 1 employee working on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I waited over 30 minutes for our turn to order. Multiple potential customers walking out when the realize how long it will take. Ownership and management are definitely the ones to blame. The young lady working was doing her best to service everyone and showed extreme patience working through the frustrated patrons! This will be our last visiting this establishment!
Very short line when me and my date entered. I noticed there were only 2 employees working and unfortunately I assumed by there body language they have been working all day. There were a few rude customers that caused an employee to break down multiple times. After 40 minutes, we finally got our shakes and they tasted delicious! Cold stone management I understand callouts but please consider being there for your employees more and staffing the building appropriately!
Last night we went to Coldstone. Online it says they don't close til 1030pm on the door outside it says they close at 930pm. It was 8:17pm my family and I got out of our vehicle walked up to the door and some little blond girl ran up and locked the door just as I was grabbing the handle then ran back with her group of teenage employees inside and was laughing. Didn't bother to open the door and say I'm sorry were closing early or anything. Will be calling to speak to management today. Very disappointed.
ICE CREAM WAS COMPLETELY MELTED WHEN I RECEIVED MY ORDER. I INITIALLY THOUGHT IT WAS A DELIVERY ISSUE. I CALLED THE 2ND DAY AND THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER AND INDICATED THAT THEY HAD TO CLOSE EARLY BECAUSE OF ISSUES WITH THE FREEZER. YET THE INDIVIDUAL I SPOKE WITH SAID I COULD COME AND PICK UP MY ORDER. YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING ICE CREAM IF THE FREEZER DOESNT WORK. WHEN ICE CREAM MELTS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND SITS OUT BACTERIA CAN GROW. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Ordered 4 ice creams on 5-14. Was told their freezer is broken when arrived. They gave my son the ice creams and #1 they are soup, #2 they are not what was ordered. You should close the store and website when your freezer is not working at an ICE CREAM store.
Went to Topeka Coldstone with kids and grandkids. There was a small line with maybe 8 people in front of us. 2 workers out front, one worker between front and back. There was another person in the back but not sure what they were doing. We waited over 30 min before we got to the front of the line. It seems they also had alot of online and doordash orders. Daughter and 2 grandkids were waited on. Workers then turned around and were working on the online orders. Husband and I ended up walking out without being waited on. Store was dirty and smelled terrible. Coldstone, take care of the customers in front of you or at least have some type of system in place. One of the employees could have been working on online orders while the other employees took care of customers in front of them. We will not be back.
Really sad when you post a sign saying you'll be right back when you have no intentions of doing so. Had a vehicle full and then another vehicle pulled up and who knows how many before me had shown up expecting to get ice cream today. The other vehicle called after we waited over 10 minutes. Which to his surprise, someone answered and informed him that he was inside and that they didn't have anyone to work today so they won't be opening until 4:30pm(it was a little after 3 when we initially pulled up). I understand you may be understaffed but you are in the building??? Guess you aren't up to the task to serve customers today.... Also why not post on your sign when you will return so other customers aren't left waiting!!!!! Super Rude!!!
Ordered online, paid for 3 toppings. It came with no toppings at all and I wasn't unaware until I got home with it. Tried to call the store but no answer. It was $8.00 and it was literally just cake batter. Ice cream was good but that's really frustrating.
