I only frequent this location on weekend evenings.It's rarely ever crowded and a reliable spot for great people watching and live music. They always have a nice rotation of local artists. It's a cozy indoor spot to choose when it's raining or chilly outside. A winter favorite. They have a staple wine list and are always rotating fun cocktails and of course coffee if you're a fan of insomnia. They also serve great food and pastries.A local Topeka staple that is consistent. A definite step up from the hustle and bustle of the Wanamaker corridor and above average service compared to similar businesses. It's worth it to add to your night out!
Very friendly, but when I asked for room in my cup for cream she forgot. Not to big of a deal but I do like to add creamer.

1st time here. Had half William Byrd sandwich and a cup of chilli. Sandwich was good but the chilli was more like a bowl of beans absolutely bo chilli seasoning.

I LOVE this place! It is always clean, nice workers, and kinda fancy place to relax. I have yet to be able to go to a show there or try their food. But love the coffee and environmenr
Very awesome team of employees. Very kind, hard working, and helpful. Had a supreme flat bread pizza and it was so delicious, and it is a very cool place to hang out and chill.
If you've never been to the classic being then you obviously don't like coffee because if you did you would have been there already check out the fact that they have not just some coffee and their great customer service super friendly and helpful anything you need I can help you find even if you don't know what you're looking for technically on top of that the ambience in the atmosphere that they provide is beyond Sublime they're very comfortable seats and very comfortable atmosphere to chill in and have a good time with your friends.
Warm, friendly individual service at the counter. I bought a $20 gift card for a gift exchange so a small local business can get more business and maybe a new customer.I also bought my own medium hot chocolate, it was great and I drank it from a substantial coffee cup. I love the nice cup experience even though I'm not a coffee drinker. A nice, comfortable yet intimate coffee house.
