Our group of 10 showed up this evening without a reservation and were seated within 20 minutes. Our server John was *amazing*! He provided stellar service, handled special requests with aplomb and wasn't phased by a certain very picky member of our party. All of the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend for a casual, comfortable dinner for a party of any size.

Sabrina was very knowledgeable about the menu and checked on us regularly throughout the dinner. Wife enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and I had the chicken Piccata. Wasn't fond of the lemon based sauce for the piccata. Overall it was a pleasant experience for two weary travelers and the wait time wasn't bad

Chicken Piccata tasted like a piece of rubbery charcoal, pasta was smooshy and the sauce was runny and had very little flavor. Salad was good but dressing felt warm. it worried me. My husband had the steak he said it was good but asparagus was tough and potatoes were really lumpy. Server pleasant but food was below sub par. I've only experienced their brunch and I may just stick with that if we rerurn..

Pullin up i was like dangg this place looks fancy. Then we go in and its like an average restaurant. I ordered the Nachos, the cheese was good but got cold fast. Then the “classic pizza” wasnt very flavorful. Then i go to the bathroom and it smelt like sewage. Bathroom was very dirty. But the gf enjoyed her Chicken Wings & brother enjoyed his chicken strips. The fries are very good also.

It took 20 minutes after we were seated for our server to reach us. That was hardly surprising; the host staff double-seated the same server! Once she reached us, though, our server was outstanding. My meal, their Traditional Benny, was quite good, as were all of our appetizers. My dear friend, who we were meeting for Easter brunch, was not so fortunate. After an extensive wait for our entrees, she was told that the kitchen was out of her selection. Her second choice was the fish and chips. The fish was mushy! Even though it flaked easily with a fork, it had a translucent appearance usually seen in undercooked seafood. She settled for a second appetizer.I know that I have mentioned before that I have a background in hospitality. This causes me to notice some things that others might not. The double-seating gaffe on the part of the host staff initially set my teeth on edge. What got them grinding, though, was the floor in the bar area. It's a dark laminate, so any little scrap that falls on it is very noticeable. It was Easter, so of course there had been a lot of traffic across that floor. I crossed the bar area to reach the restroom, and noticed that the floor in that area was simply trashed. I also noticed the bartender sitting behind the bar. I also noticed the floor manager hustling through the same area without once looking down. When we left, I noticed a small gaggle of servers standing and joking with the host staff.Come ON!A small broom, a long-handle dustpan, and 15 minutes is all that would have been required to tidy that bar area. When I, as a customer, see that the staff and management are disinterested in such a simple task, I begin to wonder what other basic cleaning they choose to neglect.

I went in for brunch on a Saturday. They are hiring. Ordered a Belgian waffle, bacon, sausage, eggs, & a biscuit with butter and jelly. To drink, water and orange juice. I was seated quickly and waited on politely by Adam, who was attentive and a very good waiter. He asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. Basted, fine, but he returned to inform me politely that the cook cannot steam an egg. No eggs then, fine. I would have taken them in any fashion they felt like bringing them, honestly, but once I had made up my mind that I wanted a steamed egg, that’s what I expected. Adam, try as he might, to convey my simple instructions to the cook, could not overcome the cook’s belligerent ignorance. To steam an egg is a simple thing. You crack an egg, drop it on a griddle, put a quarter cup of water into a pot lid, and assemble the lid over the egg on the griddle. It is not rocket science. Otherwise my food was excellent, & Adam is a fantastic waiter. The hostess has a face as holy as the pope, which was a little unappetizing and distracting, but who am I to complain about the fashion of a young working lady? Eat here, its great. I’ll update my rating to five stars when the cook learns that the customer is always right. Benny’s be damned, steaming an egg is so easy. You can’t screw it up.

Excellent food & variety. Will definitely eat here again when in Topeka.

Got the Eggs Benedict which are typically really good, but this is what I got for both my original and the “remake” Manager never came to fix the issue, our server had to handle it. At one point saying, “well sir the eggs Benedict has poached eggs”… please tell me those photos are poached eggs with a straight face.

It was ok. Maybe we didn't order the best stuff on the menu or maybe what we ordered wasn't for us.I had the lunch shrimp tacos, which were good, but the sauce on them was not. My wife had the 1/2 Cuban Sandwich, which is something she's had and enjoyed at other places, and this one was extremely dry (I had a bite and very much agreed.). We thought more mustard would have helped. The service was good. We wouldn't be opposed to going back, there wasn't anything wrong, but we wanted to like the food more.
