Dusted & disgusted. I took 2 of my son's out for a bday meal 8/3/22 we placed a dine in order 1 of my son's made a mention of ppl after us getting their meals I noticed at least a table of roughnecks getting there's before us we've been waiting an hr and I knw those men ordered steaks and meats tht take longer than our burger dishes and a salad. So thn I ask Tyson our waiter hw long? He leaves cms bk with no answer and the manager cms out trying to appease by bringing an app on top of an hr on top of all the other ppl getting theirs of not asking what pref of an app. We were out. There goes the neighborhood Applebee's.
I got the whisky bacon burger with pink, it tasted fine, but the burger started to fall apart.
My bestie and I go on "dates" when life's been crazy and we're catching up on our lives. Applebee's is one of our favs. We always end up with the 2 for $20something deal. Their alcoholic drinks are good too (her saying that since I don't drink). However, as this is part of her meal, I wanted to cover it. Service is good and we always get seated within 10 min (but there are only 2 of us).
My husband took me out after work to Applebees so he could use his gift card.Our experience was terrible!Not even Half Full on a Monday night at 5:30Good reception at the door when we arrived and seated quickly. We ordered and it took 15 minutes to get our salads.Lots of staff, mostly doing only the minimum, except for the one staff who was sanitizing and the booths. Manager was on his phone a lot, or only talking to one older couple at the bar. We were there for over an hour. Waitress brought our meal and didn’t return until after my husband was out of water for over 10 minutes. When she came back she asked if, everything was still fine, and I had to ask for the water. The steak was Ok , but the Burbon Chicken and Shrimp were both over cooked! Then we were held captive for over15 minutes after we finished until she returned so we could ask for our ticket.Atmosphere is dark and depressing, food is nothing spectacular, and service was dismal.
We only saw 2 employees. Took a while to even be seated. Food was much higher priced and definitely not as good as previous visits. Probably won't be going back. 2 for 20 menu not near as good as before, either.
I had not been to the Topeka Applebee's. This was my first-time visit. my husband and I were visiting at lunchtime on Friday. It was a busy time ( we went there around 2:00 noon). But luckily we got the table very soon.The server was polite and good at taking care of us. We ordered chicken quesadillas for appetizers. It was so delicious and had great flavors. My husband ordered a hamburger and I ordered sirloin. Both are so scrumptious. Inside the restaurant was so clean and comfortable. They had nice comfy chairs and dining tables. Also, all over the table was clean. I recommend this Applebee's at Topeka.
Bad experience we ordered orange chicken bowl and the picture had rice in it, but when we got it there was no rice. We asked them if there was supposed to be rice in it, but they said they don’t serve it with rice. We were even given a picture of it with rice. We saw the girl look at the picture and even look at us after. Yet she didn’t come apologize for not giving us rice. This experience was absolutely appalling. Other than this the food was good.
Took a long time to have our order taken. Waiting quite a while to get food. Eight employees were around one table eating and having a good time while we waited. Finally got the 4 cheese Mac and cheese and it was just Alfredo sauce. Our waitress seemed to be the only person actually working...thanks Rose.
Waitress Olivia was great. They were super busy, wait time was 30mins plus but staff was upbeat and happy. My other half, my 3 kids and myself had a great experience. Once we were seated we were checked on lots of times and whenever we needed more drinks or anything else they were right there with them in no time.
Staff were too busy chatting with each other. I was only person at bar, there were 2 others at a table. This was 2 weeks ago before KC playoff loss.Staff actually suggested that Buffalo Wild Wings would be a better spot to go.The staff outnumbered customers 2 to 1 but that just made it convenient for them to talk
