Cool place! Laid back. The food was excellent! The service was spectacular! The drinks from the bar were so good! Will definitely be back!
I stopped in on a Friday night at 10pm with a friend for some late dinner and drinks. The bar was about half full and there were a few tables with people. We sat at the table for 20 minutes and got menus from the bartender. A server walked past us 6 times and looked right at us but never said a word, not even a hello. Some drunk guy at the bar was hooting and hollering every 2 minutes. The manager was up at the bar socializing with friends and regulars. No one ever served us. We ended up leaving. They didn't seem to care much about us at all. Rude staff.
This is a hidden gem in Shawnee. Good food and good beer options with lots of large tvs for sporting events. It's usually not very crowded, since I think people haven't realized it recently changed ownership and reopened.
Poor management. 1 waitress for 50 ppl. No joke 50 ppl but three 3 bartenders just hanging around serving the 13 bar seats. Lord knows the rest of us couldn't get a drink. I mean unless you wanted to walk up to the bar. The manager came out and helped clean up and still didn't realize the imbalance in staffing. Just poor management. We had to ask for our wings to go because it had been 30 mins since we had a drink refill. We won't be back nor would we ever recommend this place to anyone unless you're just sitting at the bar drinking. Wings were just ok.
Sooo this great place has karaoke on Wednesday nites...a good friend loves to sing so I went to hang out. Sooo glad I did..the food was good, service was good and the atmosphere was very chill. Me and my friends had a really good time and look forward to going back soon.
I have only ordered delivery from here, but wanted to call out a couple of points:+ The food has good proportions with the appetizers easily servings as a full lunch if you want. Flavor is excellent on all the dishes I've tried.+ They were out of something I ordered and instead of cancelling they called and offered a similar dish as a substitute and even added an ingredient to make it closer to what I tried to order!+ Orders are well packed to prevent spillage and my food has always arrived hot/cold (as appropriate) [I know the restaurant doesn't have full control of this].- Disposable silverware only gets included sometimes. Just be aware and if it's important maybe ask your driver to double check (I always have some extras around).
It really is a coin flip on if dine in will be good or a twenty minutes wait for anyone to acknowledge you. Basically if the bar seats are full good luck on service. The regulars will form a barrier between you and the bartender. Wish they would remove a few chairs from the bar so peole can get to it to order. Food has been great everytime we had it delivered though. So hot it melted a container even.
The best thin crust pizza in KS! Supper nice people!
The staff is super friendly and the prices are fabulous. Kitchen is open late. Perfectly between a dive and high end.
I popped in here one afternoon a week or so ago with a buddy, and I’m glad I did. Some of the best wings I’ve encountered in the area. I got 10, buddy got 8 and two/three large beers and paid less than $40. The lemon pepper seasoning was really good and absolute perfection. When they have wing specials they’re even cheaper! Definitely don’t sleep on this place and don’t forget to grab some carrot cake to go. Even the side veggies were fresh and delicious, which most places don’t even pay attention to that detail.
