Chicken curry was pleasantly spiced. Egg rolls were good. This was the FIRST restaurant that actually included the chopsticks and hot mustard I requested! (vs the many requests made at many different restaurants around town)!! So they pay attention to notes made while ordering. Food was delicious and arrived quickly even though I ordered at height of lunch rush. Will order from here again!
This place is going down hill. I understand the hike in prices due to supplies but to charge me for sweet and sour, it is not acceptable. They usually give it for free or if you ask for it. Thank god for Panda Express I had some at home. The lady at the window was so rude about it. I will never come again to this place. I have so many chances but enough is enough.
Im really surprised how good it was..it was my first visit but I ended up going back the very next day. The Gerneral Tso's chicken and rice with broccoli is absolutely delicious..tender and a little saucy. The spring g rolls with shrimp with peanut sauce was good and fresh. Egg rolls had a lil charr on them both days but they were tasty and a soft crisp. I really enjoyed the egg drop soup it was sooooo savory and flavorful O.M.G..with the crispy wonton on top..yessss baby. Stop in I recommend.
I ordered online. We ordered 5 entrees. Orange chicken, general Tsos Chicken, shrimp lomein, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice. Our total was $71! I was expecting entrees that could feed a couple people for$13+ per meal. Pick up time was 6:38. I got there and waited another 25 minutes. None of this would be awful had I not looked at the prices at the drive thru none are above $8. Meaning for PICK UP I was paying $4+ per item. Then I got home and saw that these are lunch portions. I will NEVER eat here again. $70 and 5 will be able to eat. For a pick up Express Chinese place that's crazy high. Go to taste of china or panda Express or anywhere else.
I came to this restaurant tor the first time ever to eat and the owner was so disrespectful I will never return. While bringing out my soup he was holding the bowl by the brim. I explained to him that he shouldn’t hold the bowl that way and he became very defensive and aggressive. He then started to curse at me. At that point I left. I’ll never return.
Best Pho ever, we tried so many Vietnamese restaurants and this one by far is the best…They have dumplings ? their sauce is so good, the fried rolls too, and the pho ? is delicious!!!I will recommend this place!!!We come every time we like some pho and dumplings ?
Sang Sang Asian Express has some of the best combo fried rice in KC. The coconut curry chicken is also great. The staff is excellent, and we have never been disappointed with the volume or deliciousness of our food. We cannot recommend them more and hope you also enjoy them!
Fast paced, family owned busy restaurant with prices that may not have changed in 20 years. Great value, plentiful servings and the food was full of spice and flavor. A gem hidden in a simple little building. They have a large take out and drive thru business.
Absolutely the best Asian restaurant. Everything from the Pho and Egg Rolls to the entrees is the best. Food is always fresh and hot. Have never been disappointed. And if there is a long line in the drive-thru. It is definitely worth the wait.
Food is always good. They'd get 5 stars from me if.... they paid a little more attention to people who are ordering to go and even people who are eating there. Their priority seems to be UberEats and other online ordering. My understanding is that these services take as much as 30% from them.So regardless of how good the food is. It isn't worth the wait time.
