My favorite pizza and one of the better Papa John's in KC

Good Quality and Good Service
I was very impressed with this Papa John's. There is so much snow on the ground and many other food places are closed. This young woman was the only one in the shop today, had close to 50 pizzas to make and she was just knocking it out. The wait times were longer than usual of course, but it's great to see a wonderful employee like this who is still courteous, shows up when many other people use the snow as an excuse to skip work and works hard even when it gets tough. The pizzas were accurate and tasted good too!
My order on January 7 was delivered cold. I don't mean that it was slightly cooled because of the cold weather, but it was next day refrigerator leftovers cold. It was not delivered in an insulated pizza bag, the cheese had already hardened, and the crust was stiff and hard. If that delivery alone had been the basis, for my rating, I'd have left one star. This location normally delivers hot (or at least warm in cold weather). It was just cold and disappointing tonight. And there didn't seem to be any difference between the New York style pizza and the regular pizza we ordered, other than size, so I don't know what the hype was about that. Same crust, different size.
I’m thoroughly impressed with this papa johns! I checked my bank account this morning for something unrelated, but was happy to see that they refunded me the delivery fee I didn’t have to pay for coming to pick up my order instead. I was happy to have kept it the way it was originally paid because I know that sometimes people don’t always tip as well as others. I appreciated the honesty of these younger workers and wanted them to know that they are brilliant! Thanks so much!
Terrible customer service. Ordered and went to pick up first time after 30 min and was told they haven’t even started it. I kindly came back 40 min later and pizza still was not started. They were not apologetic at all just rude and complained they are short staffed. Don’t order from here!
We have been ordering from this location for 3 years. Recently this location has gone down in quality in a serious way. We started ordering extra sauce because they stopped putting anything but light sauce on their pizzas regardless of what we indicated or wrote in notes. So we started paying for extra sauce cups to be added with our order. The last several times we have ordered they do not put extra sauce on the pizza or add the extra sauce cups we pay for. The last two times we have called because we were so disappointed spending $20 to $40 on food that is stale and pizza that has light if any sauce. The manager was indifferent told us they could send us a reorder the “next day” or told us they would credited us the missing sauce and never actually did. At this point I want to save anyone money and disappointment possible if I can. Go to another location or buy a frozen pizza. Don’t waste your money.
Store is severely short staffed. I receive good service here, but the workers are over worked and under paid. The wait time is a minimum of a half hour for a pizza. The location is very good, so I assume the owners don't feel like they need to manage it correctly. Order from another location, if possible
I was very suprised that ordering for delviery took 1.5 hours and when the pizza arrived it was stone cold.very bad.
