I would highly recommend their food and catering services! We used them for our wedding and they are so fair with pricing and food. They do per person versus you pay this much for pizza and have an actual catering part of their business. The person in charge of catering, Tim, was so amazing. We had great communication and was always so helpful and kind. Anyone having a catering event or a wedding event that is using pizza/chicken Alfredo, I would recommend them in a heart beat. Everything from the food to the service was amazing and we still can’t thank them enough.
Great Pizza, Great atmosphere.
Placed an online order having never eaten here before. Thought it was super expensive at $17.49 for a small pizza (plus tax, plus $1.50 convenience fee, plus tip) but assumed it would be a loaded up “topping thick” pizza. Upon opening the box, when we got home, we were very disappointed with how minimal in size it was, thin, minimal cheese, ingredients weren’t even close to the outer edges. That said, it was very tasty, just extremely disappointed in the volume . I also asked the gal at the register why the online coupons didn’t work and she said “they expired at the end of 2021”. Might be a good idea to update them or delete them. Maybe the pizza maker that night was just doing a bad job??? Disappointed

Mixed feelings with this review. I first discovered old shawnee pizza during restaurant week 2018 before the pandemic. My wife and I stopped in for their lasagnia and chicken Alfredo. And we loved both. 5 stars. A gem we never new existed. So through the pandemic we continued to support this location and every few months I would order their lasagnia and my wife would explore their menu. In 2020 she had a bad experience and no longer wanted me to order her food, but i still loved that baked lasagna. I wanted to introduce my god daughter to their lasagnia, she was a fellow Italian fan, who has enjoyed little Italy in both Boston and New York with me. I bragged about how good old shawnee's was... we ordered 2. They provided pleanty of their amazing garlic bread. That being said. I Will not be going back ever again, there was zero noodles it was all meat sauce and super salty. She thought I was pulling a fast one on her. And neither of us finished our meals.
If you want a Crab Rangoon pizza this is the place. This is the best specialty pizza I've ever had and I've had hundreds. I can't speak to anything else on the menu because this is my go to pizza. This is a token pizza joint, minus the arcade games. Pizza and beer. What else is required in life. Would recommend and will be back
First time visit. We ordered recommended Tuscany pizza. It was very good and our waiter was on his game.Price wise, for $22 you should at least walk away full, but didn’t. This would deter us from a frequent visit.Overall great first time impression.
We've been eating here since it was The Pizza Shoppe across the street. The pizza is so old school delicious. You'll enjoy every bite and will look forward to your next chance to eat here. We moved away from Kansas City years ago, and still make a beeline for Old Shawnee Pizza Co every time we're back in town. Impressive that it still tastes just like it did 45 years ago.
I just moved to the Overland Park area from Colorado a few weeks back and have been exploring a lot of the local restaurants. This was my first time visiting this spot and I absolutely loved it! I was helped by Eli, and she was amazing! Very personable, knowledgeable and just overall on top of her game. The restaurant was clean and the team could be heard conversing and having fun while working. Every person I interacted with was friendly. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up! You can definitely tell there is a winning culture here. I will definitely recommend!
First time going here. We ordered half the extreme peperoni and half farmers market. The pizza was ok, a bit oily in my opinion due to the pepperoni. The waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately didnt take her name. My suggestion is for this place to have oregano. Pizza and pasta taste better with it!
