Jose Pepper’s is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. Their service is always exceptional. The only times their service was not top notch, was due to being short staffed from the pandemic, and I would never fault them for that. We have had many Mexican restaurants in the area and this one is by far the best.
We brought our baseball team here for lunch along with the players families. The service and food was awesome! We'd definitely come here again!
Went there with a group from work. The food was amazing. The servers were very helpful and courteous.
The food was good when we finally got it, but the service was honestly sad.For as many servers as we saw running around, there was apparently no one who knew whose table was whose, or at least what our table asked for. Our server in particular forgot part of the drink order, forgot the appetizer order, then forgot to deliver a kids meal to our table.And even though we went on mother's day, I would say it would be a pretty weak excuse for the wait staff incompetence we experienced as this restaurant was nowhere near full when we went.But this just reinforces the poor experiences I've had with Jose Peppers in the KC metro. If you want good Mexican dining experiences around here, the locally owned and operated restaurants have been leagues better in terms of service and food quality. My personal favorite is Mojitos in Raymore, formerly Mexico Viejo.
This is the first time I have been to this location (I typically go to Mission). It is a large spacious venue with plenty of parking. Staff was friendly, but a bit sparse at time of my first. Food was presented well plated and hot.
Enjoyed my lunch on the patio. Waitress was very nice. She may have been a bit overwhelmed as it was busy. We would have liked to have a refill on drinks.
Went there last night.we go there 2 nights a week but will be going to the one in Overland Park from now on. Even 15 minutes away- because we live 5 minutes from midland.we walked in and wanted to set in our reg booth and manager said no.with no reason I wear hearings aids. So we left and went to the one in o p very different experience. Was the best we’ve had food was perfect.service A plus. They listen to us instead of greeting us and turn around and walk.we have a group of 6 people every week. But manager did not take time for us to tell him. Will be going to o p where every thing was outstanding. Thanks
We eat at this Jose peppers location about 2 nights per week and the food and service is always top notch. The fajitas Del Trio is the bomb and my wife loved the jalapeño margarita
First time I ever ate there ! And when it comes to me and Mexican food no matter what I order you can mix it all up and it all tastes the same to me but this place has an exception, I gotta say it was the best Mexican slop I have ever had when it comes to eating out! TOP NOTCH FOOD!!!!
