Ordered dinner for my family of four. Found out that they just raised their prices by about $2 an entrée. I had ordered pork lo mein for myself and had to spit out bone fragments 3 times, glad I didn’t swallow them! The egg rolls are small & their’s no meat in them. Heck, even a little more cabbage would have been welcome, considering their price. But seriously folks, the food I’ve got from China King was across the board, Average but the price is above average! Location is not far from home so that’s what I get for the luxury of convenience. Chow (not) Mai Fun for me.
I like the fact that a nice and friendly restaurant is within stones throw of my neighborhood. The servers are always friendly and willing to listen to a specific request, so I thank them implesetly, and honestly
Pay attention to what you’re being charged because the prices on the menu is not what you’ll be paying. The lunch is suppose to be $6.99 for the chicken side and the beef $7.49 and nope they charged me $8.79 for both. Then I asked for a receipt and they didn’t want to give it to me at first, then they showed me a sign that says meat prices are going up so they’re going to charge more (you’ll find out what price they charged you when you pay). Insane. Won’t be coming back here and honestly, their food is just OK. If you want amazing Chinese food, go to Red Fortune in Bonner Springs. Cheap prices for delicious fresh food, fast service and perfect serving sizes...Trust me! There is nothing on Red Fortune! Avoid China King if you don’t want ripped off for just “OK” food.
It was just ok. Honey shrimp is tiny shrimp masked in a massive amount of breading but had good flavor. Fried rice was boring. Not worth the money we spent but location was close.

The food was good, but the food poisoning my entire family got from it makes this restaurant unfortunately not worth ordering from again.
