This is a very pleasant place for a snack or small meal. There is a nice selection of hot and cold drinks. All of their cold sodas are in glass bottles, something I prefer. I've eaten their baked goods on a number of occasions and they have always been good. I eat here whenever I'm in the attached Shawnee Nursery, which is as often as possible!
Even if the coffee shop wasn't good it's with a visit for the experience of having coffee inside a greenhouse. However the coffee shop is great as well!
Great beverage shop with outdoor seating with plants & shade. We tried the iced green tea & found it most refreshing. Very nice staff too. Made me buy more plants at the nursery.
Nice coffee shop inside a nursery. There is a small area where you can sit and relax, but I think you can also enjoy your coffee in the nursery sitting area as well.
Very neat place to visit if you like coffee shops. This was one of our stops on a weekend trip.

Cozy coffee shop located inside the greenhouse of Family Nursery. Serves expresso based cofees. Seating in a shady area and by a fish pond. Very relaxing area to sip coffee and commune with your favorite potted plant.
I live in St. Louis and make a point to stop at Cafe Equinox every time I visit my sister in KC. The coffee is amazing and drinking it in a greenhouse surrounded by beautiful plants is a level of happiness you just have to experience to understand. Cafe Equinox is 100% my happy place
The seating changes depending on the season as the cafe is also a plant nursery.This is a perfect place to grab a drink and walk around the nursery or sit and chat with some friends.
Nothing better than looking and beautiful plants while sipping darn good coffee! Great pairing!
