Fun atmosphere but the food was just ok. Don’t get the Parmesan garlic on your fries. Really stinky and super salty. Not appetizing at all.
Great experience! Friendly staff!
Spangles is a 50's (I think that's the era) themed diner. We stopped to look for some ice cream one evening. We were not disappointed in the selection and quality of the ice cream choices we found at Spangles. We were so excited about the ice cream, we came back the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast bagel, which is available all day, was quite tasty and refreshing. We've been missing bagels since they've been removed from McDonald's menu. While some might find the pictures from this era depicting women to be rather offensive, I don't think anyone can disagree that a place where you could buy 99 cent margaritas and a half dozen mini donuts is not a place worthy of visiting. Which brings us to our third visit in the week we were in town. We got the 99 cent and the 3.99 Margarita, AND the half dozen mini donuts. All three were found delightful and worthy of our time. During each of our three visits we were greeted in a very friendly manner. Your order number is your first name, and the staff is very courteous, using your name rather than just yelling out a number. Kind of made me feel like we were all friends. I certainly suggest visiting Spangles anytime of day. Definitely stop and get your picture with the plastic, life sized Elvis!
good hot food. great prices. the employees were so nice and friendly.
Nice place friendly food was awesome could use some cleaning on the floors and tables but its ti be expected everyone has labor issues no one want to work anynore
I'm not a frequent visitor but on this visit I was a bit disappointed. I was just looking to try an afternoon snack for the family. So we tried the new Shamrock Shakes and the taste was good overall however the price for a large was a bit surprising at $6.19 per serving (if you haven't eaten a big lunch go for it if so better do a medium), and last but not least the wait time to get the product was too long. So not bad but just not the all around value I was expecting. It's always fun to do the special seasonal offerings when it comes to dessert time but this one came at a cost and a hefty wait time. Service was just okay and the experience was just not what we expected. The taste of the shake was great and I would recommend it.
I tried their pancakes, breakfast bowl, and pita breakfast. They were all super good! Highly recommend the pita with a side of gravy for dipping it in.
Cute 50 style restaurant. Staff are friendly. Sandwiches were good. Onion rings are just so,so. Strawberry margherita had too much ice. And was not the usual strawberry blended type. It was just ok. We were justnpassing through, so was a fun place to stop.
After a long day's drive, just wanted a quick meal. This restaurant was located right next door to our hotel. Decided to try it, from long line of cars continuously moving through their drive=thru. Service (Neesha) was fast, friendly and efficient. Restaurant was clean and bright - decorated in late fifties diner style (lots of Elvis memorabilia). Food was GREAT (tried the boneless chicken wings - Thai and bbq). Definitely would return, but locations (multiple) only in Kansas - if they were closer to home, would definitely switch from my usual fast food joints to Spangles.
Came to the restaurant the day after Thanksgiving to have breakfast. What a great experience and the food was very good. Sammy helped us with our order. He has the best customer service, greeted us when we enter the thanked us for coming to see them when we left. During our meal he came out to talk to the customers to check on their meals as well as our meal. What a gem that Spangles has to represent them.
