The food is always great The staff is amazing. This is a place I went to growing up. Every time I come back home I make sure to stop here. I’ve not found any other places that can compare.
Love the Double Chuckburger with fries and the Omlettes and hashbrowns and sausage patties yummy yummy Very friendly waitress staff as well.
Our server was amazing and he really did try his best to get people their food. But it took an extremely long time to get our food. Not only that but the older cook with the scraggly long hair (not the guy with the braid) was incredibly rude to our server. He was not communicating when the food was ready, and he didn’t even bother making all the food we had ordered until we were ready to leave after getting half of our food. I ordered The chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was EXTREMELY bland. I also noticed the cook touching raw meat and frozen meat, and then not even wearing gloves or bothering to wash his hands and then immediately touching the toast for each entree and placing it on plates. It’s a huge safety hazard for cross contamination. I couldn’t Believe him. He should not be working back there. Arguing with the server constantly, highly unprofessional. Kudos to our server for truly doing his best. Tall young blond guy with earrings, he was awesome.
passing through on a Sunday and stopped at Russell’s. So glad we did!! Best food We’ve had in a long time! I had the Russell’s breakfast, husband had triple decker club and it’s the best he’s ever had- and that’s hard to beat! Oh and the pie!!! People in the waiting area told us it’s worth the wait and they were right!! Will be stopping again next time we are that way!

I had liver and onions ,mashed potatoes and salad bar. Everything was great. They have the best little salad bar at this place
No one should place time and energy into an old racist business such as this business restaurant off the highway.I stopped in for a bite to eat and received the cold shoulder from the staff, noticeably it was obvious I was not going to receive any courtesy or respect of service for no one over 15 minutes attended to me at all I had to get up and get my own menu I finally decided to leave with all the stairs of white faces that showed contentment that I was leaving no one of color was present at all so I walked out and never needed to think of coming to this place again such a shame our country still has so many people that have hate and this like for others different from themselves God help these people truly God help them.
Food was fine...way too much for one person. Staff were great..asked for crispy hash browns and what I got were okay. Wasn't going to complain about them, but apparently our server had a discussion with the cook and this prompted the manager to take a stab at crispy hash browns. So I ended up with two servings! Thanks for looking out for your customers without being asked.Other then that...the restaurant interior could use some updating.
I love the classic diner environment this place has. The service is very laid back but they treat you like family. Breakfast portions are huge. The pancake was the size of the whole plate and for a great price. 4 of us at for about $10 a piece. Would definitely go back.
