Food was good, service was slow, although we did go on a busy day. Staff was nice.
We went to our local Perkins in Salina Kansas this evening. We enjoy dining here and generally have a good experience. This evening we were seated promptly, then we sat for at least 20 minutes, no one acknowledged us. Didn't offer anything to drink, or even speak to us. A other couple was seated just before us, they left for a while then returned to their table and were greater and the server helped them. We wouldn't have minded waiting for our meal to be cooked, but we were not even acknowledged. Very disappointed in this visit.
Chicken strips were over cooked, baked potato was cold, wouldn't melt the butter. Waitress hurried by to drop the ticket on the table. When we checked out we were reprimanded for the waitress not asking us if things were OK. Don't look for us in there again.Note: We have been to 3 other Perkin's and were pleased.
We stopped in here on our way to Wichita for breakfast. Almost everything on the menu was expensive. I opted for the glass case up front. Lemon raspberry drop was ok. My mother wanted the crepes but apparently the only crepe maker there didn't come in until 8:30 am... Sorry. The bathroom was a hot mess. Yuck. I told our waitress but she didn't seem concerned. Doubt we will go back.
Aweful. The worst experience I've had in a LONG time. Took 20 minutes to be seated, Another 20 for a waiter. We did eventually get drinks. We waited an hour and a 1/2 and only got drink we didn't recieve our food. So we cut your losses and left. It was terrible.
Ordered country fried steak and eggs the gravy was very sweet ( which some people might like I guess) and my bother in laws eggs had a hair in them we asked for another plate and it had hair in them again which he just didn’t eat the eggs this time but the waitress was pretty rude did not smile and and only asked for our order. We waited for a while to get a to go box. I prefer I hop honestly they are very nice and I’ve never had a problem with stuff in food
Incredibly slow today all the way around. The “host” has no idea what he is doing and is just randomly skipping around out of order seating people, my server took 15 minutes to get us drinks when she had 4 tables (I counted), the cooks were extremely slow or the server just didn’t put the order in and had an attitude the entire time. I’m so disappointed with them.
The food was good, but they are understaffed and so the waitresses are very busy and the cook is evidently understaffed. Because of the understaffing tIt took a while to get our food.The food was good and enjoyable.
I absolutely love going here, my father and I go here twice a month for breakfast or lunch... the food is excellent and the serving size is pretty good for the price. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Great place for family meal.
Im sure it is fine but i waited 15 minutes to be seated, but since, i think there was only one waitress, 2 customers, and no hostess or any other person in sight, I walked out. Sign stated wait to be seated and I did, then after not seeing one person for 15 minutes i probably could of seated myself, but left. Could of understood if busy, but one booth with 2 people and waiting to get seated, no.
