Worst experience ever! Not enough people to handle the flow of people coming thru their doors. Employees calling in sick, Should have called employees in from other shifts. Orders getting made multiple times. Wait time on food 35 - 45 MINUTES! Not taking orders because of the back log. Watched families leave because of no service.Will not be back for a while. No excuse for this.Hopefully the Ohio St location doesn't have the same issue!
I don't eat food at Braum's, so this review is only for icecream.They have an excellent selection and great seasonal icecreams. My favourite seasonal ice creams are eggnog, peppermint, triple berry cheesecake. And you can by pints inside!My general order is a medium (a braum's large) hot fudge malt (with vanilla icecream OR Hot chocolate icecream around winter). This is my favourite icecream drink, and they advertise their medium malt as having 44g of protein. Whether that is true or not, I write the calories off as a weekly protein shake.This drink was recommended to me by Josh Brandt; he is awesome at his job and makes the best icecream. If I drive past and see his car or bike, I always stop by and say hello as I order. He is cool and would probably laugh if you tip him in anime stickers for his motorcycle.This location is wheelchair accessible.
This Braums has went down hill, or at least today when we went there. At the speaker repeated order twice. Once we got to the window, they stated order incorrectly. She then reasked what our drinks were. Once she started to hand our food to us the lady at the window seemed confused and like she was sure if it was our food, while im assuming the manager double checked, she then started to hand us someone elses drinks. I dont feel the window is great for her.
Ice cream is usually good when i come here. Especially the burgers and the little food market inside. My experience with employees was a good one last Sunday. One of the cooks was good to talk with. Couldn't remember his name but he was tall and easy to talk to and I could tell he was good with people. + they are open on Sundays till 10:45 and some nights when it gets busy, they will push it to 11pm. I also tipping because we enjoyed our check out experience. 5 stars there you go Braums!
I am always traveling as a small business owner. I am saddened to see such poor habits as staff members don't take pride in providing excellent care to all customers. It is a reflection upon management and the owner not teaching code of ethics and moral respect for all who seek your services as a franchise brand. I will keep looking elsewhere.
They definitely have great ice cream and frozen yogurt, as well as grocery items! The wait to pay for the grocery items was almost 30 minutes tho since it's a totally different area. Had it not been a gift I'd have left, but their cherry pie is my friends favorite, well next to homemade.
My wife and I came for the ice cream today. So so good! I wanted to give 5 stars. However, every table needed to be cleaned.
Lived in Salina most of my life. Now I live in Texas. Of course we have Braums down here too. But whenever I come and visit family it's always nice to meet here and have some ice cream!The only issue I had this weekend was with an older gal that seemed un-knowledgeable with the menu/ice cream items. She was rude with the younger employee. Telling him he needed to make my 'fudge sunday.' Because she did not know how (Lol). Kiddo was attentive, quick and apologetic for her behavior. Attempted to coach her on how to make a simple sunday. She proceeded to give the other customers attitude, and disregarded his aid. Im sure, if others come inside. This gal will be quickly identified, if she hasn't already. Props to the crew working together. ?
This place was filthy. Wait staff were in filthy aprons. One clerk placed a banana on a filthy surface to split it and then put it on a dish to make a banana split. Yuk! Glad it wasn't mine. The soft serve machine had leaked all over the floor making it dangerous for the workers and very unappealing for customers. Cleanup badly needed.
Great food!!! And ice cream and shakes!! Kind of a surprise to find the mini market inside, so many kinds of ice cream!! The staff was so friendly and helpful.
