Waffles are always delicious. The hash browns are okay. I wish they would actually after them before serving
The waffle house in Lebanon, MO must have spoiled me back in 2012-2014 with great service and consistency. Oak Grove and Grain Valley have poor service and cooking consistency.What's wrong with them? We stood inside Oak Grove Waffle House waiting to order food to go for at least 5 minutes watching the two waitresses walk by, looking at us, looking at them back. Kind of strange. We left disappointed.
Service friendly enough.Food hot. Sausage egg and grits bowl filling and adequately tasty. It was busy.A sign says they add a 10% service charge, so check your bill in case that influences your tipping practices. I didn't receive an itemized receipt.Not exactly a spic and span interior-crumbs noted on the floor for example, but with 3 staff working like crazy in a busy joint I would not necessarily fault them. Glad I planned on takeout just the same. Didn't scope out the bathroom.
Saw someone dead asleep in a booth didn't bother me until I realized that was the cook lol she stumbled to get our food made but it came out delicious and fast so 4/5 from me
If I lived closer to a Waffle House, I would eat there every day. Food is good, staff is nice. What more do you need
Service with a smile! Hot, fresh, and made to order — I always enjoy Waffle House. This location seems busier than most, but every employee is hustling to get the job done. I sat at the bar because I enjoy watching the food being prepared. I never had to ask for a coffee refill, the server was on top of it. I will definitely be back. I would give it 5-stars if they would start serving real butter instead or margarine.
Place was smaller than I pictured but the food was good, service was excellent and it had that good diner feel.
The manager was the only one there but the place was clean and presentable. Not much action for a Saturday night but breakfast would be the busy time for sure! The manager was great, friendly and catered to our every need.
This location doesn’t even deserve a star. I was so annoyed! First we weren’t even greeted until like 5 mins later. So we walk in and of course there’s people sitting down eating, so we wait for a table to clear up once one becomes available we got told by someone who I think was the manger that it was only to go orders allowed not dine in…… HOW when you got people sitting down eating smh never again coming to this location
So I will tell anyone of color NOT to eat here, today is my 40th Birthday and I decided to eat there. And was treated like S***, first off when I ordered she got everything wrong by not paying attention, then the unit manager refused to take my payment because she didn't take my order, and asked me to move aside so that she could help someone without color. After that was said and done, I finally got rung up and then she just reached her hand for my debit card, I had to ask how much it was, and she said oh I thought I told you, and the icing in the cake was that when she printed my receipt to sign it, she put my receipt in front of someone else like that is where I was standing. Please if you have any type of color on your skin DON'T eat at this location 75TH and NIEMAN by walmart. I'm so glad that I was taught Cultural Diversity!!!!
