Still waiting for my refund the manager said he was going to give me, I ordered the haymaker and what I got was an old order that they just took out the biscuits that were in it and gave to me, how do I know? The gravy was heat dried, fries were stale and chicken was soggy from condensation, you can even tell they didn't even bother to atleast try and make it look like it wasn't someone else's old order, plus the little piece of buiscut that was in the gravy that they missed, could of atleast mixed it around and not let it sit scooted to the side where it was obvious there was a spot for the biscuits I didn't order...all the employees looked like they just seen death, not one hi or greet, manager paid no attention nor didn't care when i called aBout my order, I added a photo I hope the owner of this establishment sees this.
Topeka big biscuit has half empty restaurant but informed there would be a wait of 15-20 minutes. If your not going to seat your open tables might as well take them out. Absolutely infuriating to watch staff standing around doing nothing but having conversations while people wait to be seated. I can see 5 employees doing nothing, maybe you should fire half your lazy staff and remove half your tables.
Used to love coming here. Not so much now. Last 3 times I received the food how they wanted to cook it & not how requested. I like my hashbrowns well done/burnt (yah weird I know but so yummy). Instead I get a barely cooked pile of mashed potatoes. Waitress didnt care & only got "well I told them" ya I get that, then dont bring it out & tell the customer oh well. I cant even eat it yuck. They dont care any more & it's so disappointing.Ok but everything else is good, biscuit & chicken fried steak. The waitresses are nice ...its the not care thing that gets me.
cinnamon pancakes big as a dinner plate. biscuits are what my dad called catheads. my eyes were too big, are the pancakes and took my biscuit and gravy to work. food was delicious. this was my first visit and will go again.
Awful service. They brought out only half of our order and everyone else was finished eating before we got the rest of our food. Waffles were ice cold.
Both of us ordered omelets with country potatoes and a huge biscuit. The food was great and couldn't finish the biscuit. Hope this location can muster enough business to remain here. We love Big Biscuit

This place is amazing and like my second home! Service has always been good and the quality of servers are immaculate! Food is top tier definitely best in the area hands down.
The BB delivers on its promise of big, flaky biscuits. I got mine smothered in sausage gravy. Heavenly! The French Toast was hot, soft and buttery. The veggie omelet looked awesome-my friend got one. Tip: if you like Ham, order it as your meat- it's enormous!
Food was good and filling. The only reason I’m giving it a three star is because of the staff behaviour in general. Our server was very pleasant and helpful (Stephanie), however the rest of the staff stood behind a bar counter of sorts while at least two servers fought with each other. Their manager was present and did nothing to stop them while their bickering continued. This was our first time here, however seeing the behaviour of the staff would not consider coming back.
