My favorite Asian restaurant in the Kansas City Metro.If you are looking for a unique, spicy and delicious entrée, I recommend the Chung Kind Spicy Chicken. It one of the entrees they are best know for. It includes a ton of chili peppers and the unique the citrus tasting Sichuan Peppercorns which gives the meal a unique taste.I also recommend the Dan-Dan Noodles, as a starter (Noodles with pork , peanuts and chili sauce).Just me typing this makes me crave it.Keep in mind these are both on the spicy side, but, well worth a try if you like the "heat".
Like their dumplings, authentic soups and scallion pancakes! Only one place where you can get authentic chinese dish in KC.
This is such a great dumpling place in the KC metro. My wife loves the Steamed Dumplings, I love the Sichuan Spicy Dumplings but the Sam Sun Dumplings were superb. Also, two words: Scallion Pancakes. The front side of house was so great and the kitchen was on point. We'll be back!
Love everything except the Mapo Tofu, a little too salty.

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant,the food was very good ( Fried rice combination with chicken,shrimp and beef) along with the crab raccoons (not pictured). Great customer service,the food came out in a reasonable time.
Just ate some orange chicken from this place and it’s extremely dry!!! It may have been old because the meat in the inside is completely dried out. This was my first experience and last experience!!!
Straight up BEST food I've had since moving to Kansas City! The food exploded with flavor, I cannot fully describe how phenomenal it was. The braised pork melted in your mouth, the eggplant was slightly sweet and savory. It's so difficult to describe how amazing it taste until you have it. This was paired with excellent service! The ladies were interactive, they refilled your water so stealth like that you wouldn't even know they were there. My fiance is from Jersey and has lamented the lack of what he feels is good food of many types, especially pizza and Asian cuisine. He read reviews of Sichuan Dynasty and we decided to make the 50 minute drive down to try it. Definitely worth it and we'll be back! Flavors are authentic, portion size is generous, and the service was very fast and courteous.
We were at Sichuan Dynasty this afternoon and it was AMAZING!!! It’s the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the Kansas City metro area. Most Chinese in KC is so different, bland, and not all that great to me compared to NYC/NJ where I’m originally from, but this place is LEGIT! We had the Sichuan Spicy Wontons, Sichuan Asparagus, Dan-Dan Noodles, Chung King Spicy Chicken, and Jiao-Yan Crispy Shrimp. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. If you like spicy or not they have what you want. The wait staff was very prompt with bringing out the dishes hot and fresh and they were super polite. Definitely check this place out!
