Your news tip: I have had some wonderful clients in my day, but this one stands out more than anyone. She has put up with me 25+ years . I sent a gift card to her for her commitment to Mr. It was for SHACK the restaurant that serves pretty good breakfast and lunch. First of all she never got anything online from me, and I was just mad. Ihad paid a mere $20 for this gift. I sent a message to the company in St. LOUIS..and they said it had already been opened..SHE NEVER GOT IT. I didn't use it obviously..so I was just supposed to eat it. I went to the Lenexa Mgr in person, ( because no one answers the phones). He apologized and gave me a $20 gift card and sent me on my way. I dropped the card off at her house apologizing for the mix up. She came in Friday, nearly 2 months later and said she tried to take her friend to breakfast..and the mf gift card was declined. I was mortified. Are you all having issues?..still can't get ahold of anyone with that company. It's completely ridiculous. Oh wait..did talk to a manager yesterday, he said he would call back today. No word. I would just give her a $20...but where is the one I already gave her? Just another company trying to rip you off!!
We were seated at the bar as soon as we walked in, but the restaurant was already crowded for 8-9 AM on a Saturday. Everything we had was wonderful! Huge portions. I would love to come back to try more! Especially the shakes.
It’s our second time here, great menu and staff. Delish Chicken Wrap and Denver Omelette, great service by Jacqueline! The food was fresh fast and hot, with refills right in hand. We are making this a destination. Love it!!
The Iguana Huevos Rancheros was absolutely excellent!!! The healthy(er) menu was also quite tasty (Brussels and eggs). It was a great mother's day meal!
Brunch is fun here! The Toot-Toot waffle is a great add-on to any meal. I order the Burrito del Curo Grande and it is Dee-licious! I also recommend their vanilla ice coffee to those who like it sweet. Highly recommend for a date or brunch with the girls
I went for brunch around 11am which is a busy time for sure. I suggest making a reservation ahead of time if you want to eat right at 11am or else you’ll get a 40 minute wait time. The waiting didn’t bother me since it gave me an excuse to walk around the vicinity (light exercise).The food was prepared well and my eggs were cooked to my specification. The food tasted fine, but nothing special to rave about.A few things that I’ve encountered that I wished was better. It seemed like they were short staffed because our server was running everywhere with little time to take a breath. It took her a good moment to take our checks and give any take-home containers even after I have requested it the first time (2 attempts). The menu was a bit too busy for me because I had difficulty differentiating a menu item from an advertisement.Overall: the place was an okay brunch place to go to, but I still rate it 7/10, unlikely that I’ll come back
great place to gather with friends. plenty of space, great food and excellent service
After deciding we were not going to cook breakfast we found this place on google maps. Upon arriving we were greeted and seated. This place is fun and the decor is superb! The chandeliers are gorgeous and the setting is welcoming. The food was flavorful, I recommend giving this place a try.
Staff was friendly. Interesting decore but fun! Funny coffee mug sayings. Drinks were good and food was great for breakfast food-I’m just not a breakfast fan. Will be back!
