Terrible service with no manners and no respect.
A real shame to Indian food. Quality and taste of the food is way way less than average. They are not inviting. It feels like you are an uninvited guest. No silverware on the table, no one to help. You got to figure out yourself. Very pricy for this ambience and quality of food. Also to note, its one price for all. We had 2 kids and 2 adults and ended up paying $100. The biriyani in the buffet was so oily and so dry. They didn't even fill our water glasses. No one bother to check on us, in spite of us requesting. Terrible place and never ever go there.
Love their Thali Option. And their chiken muglai ? one of our favorite restaurant every thing is so testy and delicious ? recommended
Very expensive $23 for both adults and kids. Goat meat was very tough and no taste in the curry. All the chicken tasted like old meat. It tasted very bland. The special chicken biriyani in the buffet was so dry and oily. I literally had to drink water to swallow it. We try not to waste food. All that tasted ok was white rice, sambar and appalam and we ended paying $100 for 2 kids and 2 adults on Sunday afternoon. We get it, prices increased but this seems very unreasonable increase in price for the quality of food that is being served. They did not show up to ask if we need anything. They left a jug of water. it was gone and never bothered to fill it. No hospitality, zero customer service, very rude in responding to us. Will never ever go back to this place.
If we had read the reviews this place has received recently, we never would have ventured in for the lunch buffet. First, the server who led us to a table asked us what we wanted to drink - we had no menus so I had no idea of what the choices were and said so. My husband said he wanted a diet coke and the server brought a BOTTLE of diet coke to the table and plunked it down - never did bring a glass for it. I said I'd have water and he did bring a pitcher and two glasses of water, then disappeared. He never came back with a glass for the coke; in fact, he never came back at all. The worst was yet to come. I've NEVER had such awful Indian food. The naan was stiff and dry and obviously stale; the vegetable biryani was dry; nothing tasted as it should have. There were signs warning about not wasting food, or you'd be charged for an extra plate - I'm not one to waste food, but I had to leave stuff on my plate because it was so unappealing it was inedible. To top it all off, our bill for the two of us was nearly $40. I don't like to write bad reviews, but this is one restaurant that in my opinion deserves it.
I have only ever eaten the buffet here and during the winter storm this year I decided to hit it up. Unfortunately the buffet was not open because short staffed due to weather conditions that day (which I totally understand). I decided to stay and eat anyway while talking with the owner while I waited. Really nice gentleman who I had a great conversation while I waited. Anyway to the food! WOW was I glad I order the Tikki Masala, it has to be one of the best ones I have had in the Midwest. The spices were on point and the portion was enough to give me some for dinner. I ordered the garlic naan as well, let’s just say I love garlic and this one could keep a vampire away for over a mile! It was all incredible and now I think I will come back more often for their dinner menu now. The buffet here is good but the fresh to order blew me away! If you have had a bad experience here give it a second shot for dinner or come in for lunch and order it fresh instead. The owner has a passion for his restaurant and his been here for 23 years. I will be back
Good Indian food. Simple place, not many options but options enough. The garlic nan is great! It has an unique system, it's buffet, which means it's all you can eat. For lovers of Indian food it's a good option for a reasonable price. The owner is a little pragmatist, not much service driven, but you don't need to interact much with him so it's not a problem
Ruchi is a hidden gem that is one of our favorite places to eat in Kansas City! They are very friendly and the food is excellent! Whenever we are craving Indian food, nothing satisfies quite like it. If you’ve never had Indian food, Ruchi is a wonderful place to try it at!
This was the most authentic indian food Ive ever had. The service was par-none. The waiter made me feel very at home. I plan on eating her often. They recommend they're lunch buffet so ill be here to try that nexy.
