A reservation is important if you wish to dine at Ricco's. It is a neighborhood gem and very busy. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, so it doesn't look impressive. However, once you dine here, you are hooked. You must try the Sonoma Tort and the Cesear Salad. The bar is huge, so often time there is seating available, however, not always. There is a small outdoor patio. The food is Italian without the heavy garlic or onion - the real deal.
So many good things to say about this place! Came here last night for our anniversary dinner and I’m so glad we did. The food was so delicious. We ordered artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was so creamy. I got the mushroom penne with shrimp and my husband customized an 8in pizza. Our server was Elizabeth and she was so kind and helpful. We told her we were there celebrating our anniversary and the manager took care of our dessert which was so kind of them to do. We ordered the tuxedo cake and it was amazing! We will definitely be back.
Small but good. Had a good meal with the family. Chicken spanini wasn't the best I've had, but good. The chicken limon was great. The cost was a little on the high side for what it was but not terrible.
Service & staff were great. Highly recommend the Artichoke Dip. Pasta with shrimp was extremely delicious. I created my own pizza & it was very good.
An absolute gem tucked away in a subtle location. We decided to try Riccos for my brother’s birthday and we will definitely be back! Our server, Corbin was phenomenal. Off the bat he was very pleasant and knowledgeable! A great atmosphere with even better food.Every bit of everything on my plate was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the Balsamic Glazed Salmon it’s *chefs kiss* to die for!
Very nice quiet atmosphere with great service and great food! We got a pizza for the kiddo and it was some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. I got a ghost pepper pasta with sausage that just had the right amount of kick but not to much.
Had a great time! I came with my partner as we celebrated our anniversary, and I was pleasantly surprised with not only the atmosphere but the food and staff were all lovely. The dining room was nice and cozy, bit on the small side, which actually is great when we wanted the privacy. Our server definitely made our night more enjoyable as she was attentive and worked well to provide input on the menu. Can't believe I hadn't been here sooner!
I ate there with family recently. There was a short wait before being seated but it was well worth it. All of us enjoyed our food. The service was excellent. I am just sorry that we don't live closer for return visits.
The bruschetta was amazing. The server was on point. We split the ravioli which was a good call because there was plenty for both of us. Their cheese garlic bread is probably the best I’ve had up here. Highly recommend stopping in here.
Sorry - Have lived in KC 12 years -Thought I had visited the best Italian restaurants - I was WRONG. RICCO'S is as good as it gets. Overall ambiance, service, and food was off the charts. Six of us tried pretty much everything - Food (and drinks) were great. Don't forget the Sonoma Torte and by far the best calamari in town. Thanks Ricco's - we will be back!
