For us it missed the mark. They make their own fries from scratch-- which *should* be a home run idea. But the potatoes they used had a lot of rot. Which happens, but usually those are thrown in the garbage instead of in the fryer and still served. I said no to mustard or mayo and there was still mayo. I asked for white bread and got sourdough. Despite all that though it was still a positive experience, but enough things were wrong that we won't be back.
Way overpriced for a small sub and I got the 8 inch sub but just small in size not too much bigger than a hot dog bun and the fries sucked, two very small slices of provolone cheese and maybe four I can't really see four slices but of Turkey about six slices of tomato thickly sliced and lettuce and not even much lettuce at all the bun is very hard and dry I should have known when you're stopping at a place at lunch time in overland Park and it's not busy well it wasn't nobody in there just me and the workers
Great surprise, maybe the best sub I have had anywhere, the bread is perfect, the meats and toppings were great. This is my second visit and both times have been excellent. Friendly staff in the most underwhelming environment, go figure, never judge a restaurant by it's looks.

Terrible experience. I ordered a cold sub and fries. I got a cookie and a drink. It was somehow $27?!?!? But anyway I waited 15 min for a COLD sub. There was no other orders being made.The employees openly made fun of me while I waited. The food was awful. My bread was stale. The sandwich was tasteless. The fries were soggy, unsalted, flavorless, and were fried in old oil.What is wrong with this place?
This evening was our first time eating here and I am beyond impressed. Dominic and his coworker went out of their way to help us choose a sandwich, which I felt went above and beyond. I had a Club-east coast style, heated and my husband had a cheesesteak. Both sandwiches were amazing!
I have eaten at the restaurant and have taken food to go and both times the food has been delicious. Love the homemade lemonade and the fresh cut fries. Sandwiches are always hot and fresh. Definitely will be back.
I'm sure this is a common mistake, but I was hoping to catch my subway here, but quickly found out that this is not the subway station by the same name. (The subway station I was looking for is all the way in New York.) I still decided to stick around and get myself a sandwich (Which is what the restaurant Penn Station serves) so I didn't waste my time. Definitely enjoyed it probably more than I would have a ride on a subway in New York. I will definitely tell all my friends to come here, but let them know ahead of time there aren't any trains or subways, but rather one of the best sandwiches I have had.
